We booked July 2002 and like most of you have had our holiday cancelled once we paid the balance in full. Our travel agent told Airtours to put their explanation of cancellation in writing - their excuse is a "stock loading error." We were also offered accomodation of a lower standard, but could not trust Airtours again - ever!! I feel we should all be entitled to some compensation, but do not know where to begin.
Forgot to add that we were due to travel on 4th August 2003.
Thanks Katie, I have written to ABTA, but they have not replied yet. We have lost our faith in Airtours and do not trust them enough to give them any more custom - they have not refunded our money yet.
