Just returned from Zante for the 2nd time and Escapes has to be one of the nicest restaurants, although most of them are and you really are spoilt for choice. A lovely setting and very friendly staff (was surprised one of the waiters remembered us from 2 years ago - we werent that bad were we?). Ate there a few times and we were impressed at the waiters actually running around with sweat dripping from their faces because it was so busy - cant imagine that happening in England!Keep up the good work Maria and hope to see you again soon. Would recommend this restaurant for its food/service and cleanliness!

Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Zante - its so so good, apart from the walk! The food was as excellent as always but the friendliness of the staff outshines most of the other restaurants. Dennis always makes a point of greeting customers, couldnt believe he remembered us from a couple of years ago! Although the restaurant usually gets busy, the waiters always make a point of having a chat with you - oh n thanks for the lollipops went down a treat on the walk bk to our hotel! Keep up the good work - will definitely be back!

I think a little overrated but nice nonetheless. Was very busy, although the waiters managed to pull together an extra table for our party of 5. Extensive menu so it took ages for us to decide and I have to say the desserts are yummy yum! People were queuing outside so we felt a little rushed, although good, I wouldnt queue as there are nicer restaurants on the island such as Escapes and Mikaelos. Worth a try oh and they do nice breakfasts too!

Just returned from our second time at The Venus having had a brilliant holiday! Spiros keep practicing with the cocktails they were brilliant especially the one with cream, baileys and drinking chocolate. Loz, Daz and Kirstie say hi by the way! It was like returning home, with everyone remembering us and being so friendly, nothing is too much trouble. A very clean hotel, the pool is excellent as is the snack bar - try the milkshakes they're the best one's I've tasted! Aircraft noise is not a problem, you get used to it and its actually nice seeing all the planes so low overhead. Would certainly recommend the Venus for its friendliness, cleanliness and location, nothing is too far away.
