we have just arrived back from kalamaki and for the 3rd year running we have had an amazing time. we have stayed at the hotel marelen twice before but this time we stayed at the kalamaki beach. both hotels are excellent, the marelen's rooms are more modern ie double glazing etc but the kalamaki beach is more peaceful at night. unfortunately we still haven't seen a turtle so we will have to go back next year!!! Finally, the reason that we go back is because of PAOLO's restuarant, the food, atmosphere and staff are brilliant. we have been to kalamaki three times and never eaten anywhere else. so, thanks to Pavlos, Denis, Yiannis, Teo, Anthoni, Ilias, Andrea and Maria for another memorable year. see you next year

We have been to Kalamaki for the last 3 years (only just got back this morning) and had yet another great time eating every night at Paolo's (we've never eaten anywhere else on zante). The food, atmosphere and most of all the restaurant staff are excellent and we've never been disappointed. They even arranged a birthday cake for us. So thank you to Paulo, Denis, Yiannis, Teo, Anthoni, Ilias, Andrea and Maria, hope we haven't missed any one who made sure that we had such a great time every night. If you visit kalamaki, Paolo's restaurant is a must. See you next year (unless we can get back before then!!)
