We stayed in Kalamaki from 9th June 2015. To be honest like many others we found the PR people outside each taverna a bit of a drag however most of them did not over do it and would back off. We ate in Paulo's 3 times and found the food to be fantastic. We had the wrong starter served one night and they changed it straight away and kept on saying sorry. We said no problem but they still apologised.We had a wide range of dishes and everything was perfect. All the waiters were warm and friendly and liked to chat with you. The restaurant is very good value for money as well. What more can you ask for!

Ate at Paulo's at least 7 of the nights during a 2 week break - sampled their Pizza, Chicken, Beef, Lamb and Fish dishes.  All were excellent.  The staff were always helpful - the children aged 10 and 13 loved eating here.  We did sample other restaurants but for us this was by far the best.

Not be long  now guys before we are back eating at your retaurant.  Looking forward to some delicious food.   8 weeks and counting.  See you soon.

We ate here last week for the firrst time.. nice meal & nice surroundings. Good value for money we will be coming back next year

 DAUGHTER AND HER PARTNER TRIED PAOLO'S FIRST AND RECOMMEND IT, SO THE WHOLE PARTY WENT.BRILLIANT VALUE, GOOD FOOD, GOOD RAPPORT, ON OUR LAST NIGHT WE WENT AGAIN AND HAD A BREAD STARTER + MYSELF AND OUR 11 YEAR OLD GRANDSON HAD GRILLED SWORDFISH AND ASSORTED VEGATABLES ABSOLUTELY GORGEUS , DAUGHTER  AND WIFE HAD CHICKEN RAGZINI  & DAUSTERS PARTNER HAD PORK SAVALAKI AND VEG AND EVERYBODY WAS STUFFED FULL SO NO SESSET WAS HAD  WE HAD SOFT DRINKS & ALCHOLIC DRINKS + 2 CARAFS OF WINE AND WHEN THE BILL ARRIVED IT WAS HALF THE PRICE I HAD  BUDGETTED FOR + AS WE HAD BEEN BEFORE I GOT A FURTHER 10% DISCOUNT.      HIGHLY RECOMMED  THE PLACE   

Nice friendly place to eat with a good playarea for the children. Portion sizes were on the large side, and a good choice on the menu. Childrens menu was good and large portions also. Kids get a free ice cream with sparkler in after the meal which they though was fab . All in all a nice place to eat. Great value for money

Ate here once during our one week stay at the Kalamaki beach hotel, had to walk past Paolos to get into town and every evening he would cxall to us on the other side of the road.. we kept promising to go in and did so on our fourth night... I had already been on this site and noted mostly good comments... well it was a bit of a disappointment really... starters Houmus, squid were plentiful, but bland.. mains (Steak and Lamb kebab) were tough and luke warm...potatoes horrible, rice packed with far too much garlic, service a little slow, poor wine list, overall not good value compared with other places, sadly wouldn't return

Went to Paolo's the first nite we arrived in Kalamaki, was very reasonable and the food was good, me and the wife had Zante style Beef, one of the best we had!, we were made very welcome by the friendly staff

We went here twice this year and both times the food was great. Hot pot Paolo for me and Moussaka for the wife. Friendly service, we will return next year.

Enjoyed several meals here and still the best mousakka and bekri meze, same lovely atmosphere and some new faces front of house this year. Busier than we though it would be so late in the season and always good to see the locals having a good night out too

Just back from another great holiday in Kalamaki.  Paolos was the first restaurant we ever went to wayback in the 90's and is a tradition with us now  Enjoyed several really good meals here over the last two weeks.  It was way too hot in June to enjoy the wonderful moussaka but made up for it this time

 We had 2 wonderful meals at this restaurant whilst on holiday in Kalamaki.  George and the rest of the waiters were very friendly and prompt.  Made us feel really welcome.  We are now back in England in the Rain.  See again hopefully next year.

We have been going to Paolos for many years and it never fails to please  Enjoyed several good meals here amongst which was my absolute favourite, Bekri Meze.  See you all again in September

had some of the best meals of my two weeks in kakamaki. All the staff are some of the most friendly waiters I know, nothing was to much trouble.

We had one meal here and it was excellent. The Paolo hot pot is to die for and the staff were very friendly.

we had a lovely time at this restaurant we visted in may then again in august.

we came here 6/7 nights it was lovely and the waiters were very nice. hello to alexis nikos jimmy and george, even one of them proposed to me hehe 

Last year we went to Paolo's most nights and that happened again this year. You recieve a very friendly welcome and there are a lot of seats to choose from.

The kids seemed to take a very strong liking to the waiters JIMMY and GEORGE!! ( don't think that thats their real names)

Last year my visit to Paolo's was not very very good as the food was poor for the value you pay.  This year I thought  I'd give it another go, I was glad I did.  The restaurant was full which is normally a good sign.  The food we had was good, the only fault with the restaurant was the waiters.  The waiter we had was grumpy and distracted.  He was always looking round the restaurant and you had to keep repeating yourself before he actually looked at you (or glared) and wrote it down.  I checked, he did this to everyone except the table of single women.  It was quite funny it reminded me of a comedy show, I was waiting for him the throw the plates down!  Anyway if you don't mind waiters that don't like visitors you will have a great night (he might of just had an off night!).

Hello to all at Paolo's  Each year I recommend this place to everyone I meet and on this site. Excellent food, staff, service, atmosphere and prices. You can't beat it. The staff here make your visit to the pizzeria what it is, George, Jimmy, Alex, Nickos, Maria and not forgetting making it a family buisness Spiros and Paolo (hoping I havn't left anyone out ) but deffinatly recommend anybody to go and try any dish at this all round great restaurant. Hopefully see you all again next year. xxx
