Stayed at Dennys Inn for two weeks at the beginning of September. Read the positive reviews before we arrived. It's not until you actually get there that you realise the authenticity of the praise. The hotel was spotless and food excellent. However, it is the staff there that really make this place a joy to stay in. We were amongst the few 'first timers' at Dennys Inn and I can now understand why people go back year after year. Stuart & Spiros if you are reading this then make sure you keep your prize asset - Bev - as she is a great host and she should come over to the UK during the closed season to teach hoteliers in the UK how to it should be done.
We heard a few negative comments about breakfast but Stuart and our friends from Coventry, Tracey,Kenny,Dylliss and little angel Alex kept us up every night drinking so we never made breakfast!
Hope to come back soon (if we can get in), Paul & Sam
Stayed from 4th Sept for two weeks in Kalamaki. Bit disappointed with only 8 clear days of sunshine but gave us a chance to explore and there was enough to see to keep us occupied.
Stayed in Kalamaki first two weeks in September and thoroughly enjoyed it. Perfect for couples and families and for a livelier night then Laganas is only a short taxi ride away. Must be twinned with Manchester as every other person seemed to be from there and even more surprising some of them actually supported Man Utd.
Must of caught them on a bad night, waited 50 mins for a drink and 1hr 20mins for lukewarm average meal.Did complain but got apathetic response. They seemed to concentrate on bigger groups of guests and ignore couples - good business sense I suppose but not the usual 'Greek' friendly touch.
Found nearly all the restaurants in Kalamaki enjoyable, but this one stood out for its excellent food and service and traditional atmosphere. The house wine went down a treat too!
