Just came back from Kalamaki yesterday and stayed at the Cavo D'Oro hotel. Had a fantastic time and would definately recommend it. Hi to George and Nancy, thanks for a great fortnight!!!

Second time to Kalamaki, stayed at Daisy's in 1998 and Cavo D'Oro for the last 2 weeks in Sept this year. Would highly recommend both!!!
Lots has changed since '98, Kalamaki main strip (main road to laganas) was just an empty road with nothing on it!! Was really suprised at how much Kalamaki has expanded.
Still love it though.
Best places to eat are Mermaids, Paris Taverna and Chives Roof Garden near Crystal Beach.
Best bar by far is the Mustang Saloon with Stuart and Julie. Great for kids too!!!
Definately going back next year for the honeymoon!!!

Hi, we went to Cavo Doro last year and are going back this year. Will anyone reading this be there between 15 and 29 sept? Last year we met a brilliant couple and had a laugh and hope to do the same this year. Cant wait!!!

Stayed at Cavo D'oro last year in B&B and the room was good, excellent views, clean, cool etc. But this year i stayed in self catering (for a fridge, and yes, breakfast was almost non existent!)We had a ground floor room which was damp. Right next to a sewage pipe and drain which smelt and once leaked. The complex itself is lovely. Nice gardens and pool area, nice snack bar and restaurant etc. The rooms are old and could do with some updating. we are going back to Kalamaki next year but not to Cavo D'Oro
