I Stayed in the Maria apartments for two weeks from 29th june-13 of july. Lovely apartments, cleaned regulary, friendly staff and wonderful rep, Kim.The lads, Phil, Theo, Alex and Billy were all friendly and ensured you had a good holiday. I returned for a week from 7th-14th of September on my own and all the staff looked after me really well including Maria the owner. I agree with some comments about the drinks being expensive but i think we need to take into account that it is a hotel, we would expect to pay more in this country if we drank in a hotel. I did not find any of the staff to be 'snotty' they were very helpful all of the time. I would however make note that this is a basic hotel and aslong as you dont go expecting a room from the Ritz you will have a great holiday. Great restaurants, bars and beech in Alykes well worth a visit

We had one of the nicest meals at this restaurant, the food was lovely, the staff were friendly and the atmosphere was nice. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

Jayne, can I just point out that you were only there for two weeks! Ok you do only get small towels and the rooms are basic fair enough but the lads are fantastic, they looked after me and my family really well, if you were expecting the f ing Ritz why did you book there its a 2 star hotel not a 5 star. Just to let you know the lads do not always win at the pool competition they were beaten the two weeks I was there. If you got in such a tiz about tony using your moped you should have just said noit's not that difficult!

Hiya Sarah, yes there are safety deposit boxes at the Maria Apatrtments they are in the pool/snack bar. How long you going for and when? I can find out the price of one for you. They hire fans too but it is cheaper to hire one from town, most places will drop them off and pick them up for you. Any other info just message back

elly, there are a handful of cash machines on the main strip tru the middle of laganas. You could probably walk for about 5 mins tops to find one. Can you let me know what you think of jimmy's when you get back im debating whether to book or not for august?! Thanks

Stayed at The Victoria from 7/5 to 14/5 and for the first few days we were the only people in there! Hotel was nice there were a few minor problems at first as the hotel had only opened the day we arrived but they were quickly rectified and the staff are very friendly and approachable.

Really cool bar and fab drinks all the staff are really friendly and will chat to you as well as serve you drinks unlike some other bars on the strip. Will definately visit this bar again in September, only 4 months to go

This was the best restaurant that we ate at all holiday, food was outstanding and the service was fantastic. Definately going to be eating here again in September.

Lovely food and nice atmosphere the beef fillet stroganoff was to die for. Was a problem with a few of the waiting on staff not speaking english and they got terribly confused when my dad asked where the toilet was!

Fab restaurant and fantastic people, best restorative bacon butty of a morning!
