Not too sure about this hotel. Was very clean but we were expecting to find some locals working there - not just English and Australians! Woody was definitely the most friendly of the bunch. Was a bit of a walk into the main area but not too bad. We hired bicycles for a few days which I recommend doing. It was really cheap and we got to go to the more relaxed resorts of Kalamaki and Argassi - definitely worthwhile.

Discovered this place late in our stay and only during the day....but loved it! Sure it must be great at night. We were staying in Laganas and cycled to Kalamaki specially on our last day to have a big breakfast here - fantastic! The staff were really friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic Sea Bass at a reasonable price! Go here!

We used to hire the sun loungers infront of Ice Haven and pop in for lunch. Excellent food here with very friendly staff.

I'm sorry but I just have to add further comments about this place. I can't believe how everyone keeps going on about how wonderful the bar staff are! I found them unapproachable and unfriendly. The only one who did make any impression was Woody but as for the australians there, they were as miserable as sin. Bar/hotel staff on previous holidays have always been locals and always extremely friendly - I wasn't at all impressed with this place.

Anyone who thinks a good holiday consists of sitting around the hotel bar watching films and sport on a big screen TV would think this was a great place. Personally, I prefer to see a bit of another country and eat at different restaurants. The hotel was certainly clean, with good facilities and in a good location but I would expect a bit more from my holiday.

Blimey! Didn't realise that I was so in demand! It's not that we hated the place but for some reason the staff seemed to take a dislike to me and my boyfriend. On our first night there we thought we would sit at the bar and make an effort to chat but we were more or less ignored. The hotel itself was really nice - very clean with excellent facilities. Also, when we stayed at the pool and we had lunch this was always pretty good - especially the milkshakes. I just feel that compared to other holidays I've been on that the staff have always been such a good laugh and felt let down by the attitude we received from here. Each to their own though.
