Have been going to Alykanas for 6 years now. Pop into Catacombes most nights for an hour or so just to chill and have a few beers. The music is first class and if you dont like whats playing, Dennis will tell you to pick something from the huge collection of C.D.'s on the bar. Friendly banter, good laugh and great company.Nothing too much trouble for them. I would advise anyone to go, at least once, sitting under the huge parasoles on a warm night,cant beat it!

Try here for a fab breakfast. Have gone in, hungover, many times over the years. Jane and Denis(the owners) are lovely, friendly people. The barbecue on a Tuesday night is recommended. Quiz, good music, great food and wonderful atmosphere. C U round about 11am on the 12th July folks, and remember Jane, 2 sausages for me please.
P.S. The c'ds you got me are brill. Can sing word for word, just dont know what the heck i'm singing about. Really must learn greek.

Have to agree with all comments made re mill bar. Julie and Spiros are wonderful. If you need help with anything they will do their best. Have made many friends in this bar over the years. Their greek night is by far the best,(audience participation plays a huge part, so be warned!)I advise to book early. Will be back again this year in July, cant wait!

Just to let you know Debbie, safety deposit boxes are available in the newer apartments at the Elpida, If u happen to be in one of the older apartments, u can use one of the boxes in the supermarket.

This is a brilliant place, stayed here a few times and know the family really well. Hard working, honest, genuine people.Dennis and Denise (the owners) dont speak much English, but part of the fun is trying to communicate with them anyway. Spyros and Aliki (their son and daughter) both speak English very well and will gladly translate for you.

A place for all age groups. Their barbecue and quiz night certainly gets all the guests mixing together.

The newer apartments are spotless and has everything you need. The older ones, a wee bit dusty, but hey! Perfectly acceptable.

Alot of people we met here, keep coming back year after year after year.(including us)I think that speaks for itself.

Went to the greek night here on the Monday and had a great time. (Was very busy so would recommend booking.)

We always stay in Alykanas when we visit but this bar is one of the main reasons for popping down to Alykes for the night.

Always made to feel welcome by Vicky and Dimitris. (Congratulations to you both again )

Have to recommend this place for a wonderful breakfast. Jayne has been looking after us for a few years now and  a Jesters breakfast is part of our holiday.

Girdy, girdy, guys. We too have really missed not being there this year. First time in 10 years.  

Just have to be content with Spiros visiting us again this October. Woo Hoo. (Counting the days my wee scone  )
