We thought the Angelas were ok but nothing special, the room we had on the first floor was v.basic and the supposed 'twice weekly' getting new bedding thing didn't happen, also the owner's son is a bit of a weirdo who likes coming into the room with a mop ,if you don't do 18-30 thing and stay here then you will feel like an outsider, the reps are ok and not too pushy, but I think there must be better places to stay than here cos it's very, very noisy next to a few pubs and most of the guests parade around all night screaming and shouting, oh i sound like an old woman here!
DO NOT go with smiley tours because they wait till you get to Zante Tow nthen tell you you have 90 minutes to be back at the bus, its 5 euros per person when you can use the local bus and it only costs 90 cents each way. The staff in the shops are all quite friendly with the exception of the Hondos Centre, it's a bit like Boots but they are amazingly snobby there. Try TopShop if you're a girl and like cool bags, although it's not the same as our TopShop, but overall I liked Zante Town I went there twice,be warned go early cos the shops close at 2 and there's nothing to do!
This was the worst meal I've ever had, burnt lasagne with cubed ham instead of mince, our bill came to 16 euros we gave them 20 and expected change but we didn't get any, plus we left most of our food and were asked 'why were we leaving such 'nice' food?' DO NOT GO!
The staff here are very friendly and the food is great and reasonably priced, I think the older English woman who does the PR is really nice and not pushy
