Brilliant breakfast and very reasonably priced and the guy serving was very pleasant.We went there about 8 times out of our 14 days.

The Ikaros has to have been one of the uncleanest hotels I have stayed in. There where dead Mosquitos squashed on the wall and deads ones on the floor which never seemed to get swept up. We accidently brought sand in on our feet from the beach and it was still on the floor about 5 days later and some days the bucket was not even emptied (especially when your not to flush the loo roll down the toilet). The Bathroom looked like it needed a good scrub. The Guy who owned it could sniff out food and drink brought in from outside a mile off and gave you a row over the Tannoy. Also why do people have to slam doors all the time. What is the need for this ! Thankfully we had earplugs which cut out most of the noise, especially the cockeral. The resort itself was excellent. We would also recommend the Orange restaurant. Absolutely excellent and not expensive. The Toad in the Hole make great breakfast and very good service. If you are in the Mythos Bar just below Oor Wullies say hello to Spiros and Kiri for us. We will certainly be back to Zante but not to the Ikaros.

We tried quite a few different restaurants but once we had been here we never went anywhere else. The food was excellent and the service was very good. A very nice bunch of waiters. Pasta is their speciallity and the prawn cocktails are the best I have had. We never had one bad meal in this place. Try it for yourself. It,s just down the wee road at Cozy Corner

The food was fine but the service was very slow. I know we should expect this when in Greece, but 45 mins for starters to arrive then god knows how long for our main courses. The restaurant was not even busy at the time.
