Zante Palace Hotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

These airtours exclusive award winning apartments are set against the hills means nice cool rooms but the pool takes till mid afternoon to get warm. Not at lot on site for children more for couples and older families. However we liked it even though we had kiddies as it was not over run with children. Ideally located for the beach a short 5 minute walk away along a private road. The beach runs parallel to the road into town and an abundance of restaurants could be found. Just outside the apartments there was a supermarket so provisions did not hav eot be hauled a long distance. Just above the apartments was our favoutie restaurant set high above the hills . You could go into to town early get a free pony and trap up to this restaurant and then have a short evening stroll back down to the Zante Palace Apartments. We enjoyed the walking although we are not hikers. Our children at the time were aged 4 and 9. Excellent would certainly go agian.

Faulty Towers - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

If you like good English cookin then this is the place for you. I have to say it was never short of punters having the home made cheese pie or roast beef dinner. It looked clean and homely. We did not eat there only passed it as we went on our way to the traditional tavernas and greek food that we had travelled all this way to enjoy. No accounting for taste.

Catch the free pony and trap from town up into the hills for a change. This is a very spacious restaurant, eating outside and undercover, plenty of room for the children. Lots of extras given to persuade you to come back again such as fruit, lollies for the kids and drinks. Very friendly, food excellent, large portions, not the cheapest but worth it. Makes a lovely evening
