I AM GOING BACK TO THE WHITE HOUSE AFTER A FEW YEARS BREAK. I HAVE BEEN TOLD IT HASNT CHANGED. I HOPE NOT AS WE HAVE VERY FOND MEMORIES OF BONKERS BAR. WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW WE GOT ON WHEN WE RETURN.

I HAVE JUST FOUND THIS SITE AND COULD`NT STOP MYSELF FROM ADDING A FEW COMMENTS ABOUT THE WHITE HOUSE. OUR FIRST TIME IN ZANTE WE STAYED AT THE THOMPSON HOTEL, JUST A FEW HUNDRED YARDS FROM THE WHITE HOUSE. WE WERE SO FED UP WITH THE CRAMPED POOLSIDE THAT WE DECIDED TO SEE WHAT WAS ON OFFER FURTHER DOWN THE ROAD. I WAS REALLY GLAD THAT WE DID AS WE CAME ACROSS BONKERS BAR. I SAT AND HAD A DRINK WITH KARON AND ASKED IF WE COULD HAVE THE USE OF THIER POOL. SHE SAID THAT WOULD BE NO PROBLEM, AND WE SOON FOUND OTHER PEOPLE FROM THE HOTEL DOING THE SAME. THE NEXT YEAR WE ARRANGED TO MEET UP AND STAY AT THE WHITE HOUSE APPS, WHICH WE DID. WE ALL HAD A GREAT TIME. THAT WAS IN 2000, AND IN JUST OVER TWO WEEKS WE ARE GOING BACK. I WILL LET YOU KNOW HOW IT WENT ON MY RETURN.

Returned on Tues after a two week stay. Nice to see Karen and Pavlos again with thier lovely little girl. Sorry to see how much the area has changed in our 4 year absence, also how the pool was taken over by the off duty reps from the Alykanas Village ( or as the locals call it "The Monster")Im not a prude but I think thier language in front of children was awfull. I suppose this is progress but I would hate to see what it will be like in a few years time. Shame, we used to love the place

i have just returned from a two week stay at the white house appts which is at the back of bonkers bar. we have stayed here before, and was looking foreward to two weeks relaxing in the sun. it has been four years since last visited and was amazed at the difference. it would have been ok had it not been for the off duty reps from the village, air tours, panorma who ever, who came to our pool, which we had paid for, and completely took over. thier languge was such that a number of families with children left the pool area. i didnt mind the one or two who just wanted to unwind and relax but there was the odd couple ( believe me they were not on this planet ) who thought they owned the place. so to jordan and her foul mouthed big mate thanks for nothing. next time you see a plane full of punters flying overhead coming to your resort, dont shout out " p**s off home" which you did on more than one occasion, these people are paying for you to be on the island. compared to some, you have a really good time, i know my daughter was a rep in majorca.

I also am amazed at some of the comments. I dont know if they have changed hands recentely but we had several meals here and couldnt fault any of them. I didnt see cutlerey under armpits or sweaty waiters, just a very pleasant couple from Liecester with an also very pleasant greek girl. It was a relaxing change from the blaring music we got at some of the places. It was a very nice Cosy Corner.
