We stayed here from the 26/09 to 03/10 and had a very enjoyable break. The rooms are not wonderful (think Travel Inn) and the bathrooms are little better, but as you spend little time in them they are adequate. There is no hot water in the evenings so expect cold showers! The outside/pool areas are very good and what makes the hotel a very good choice. There are two pools – one family pool that is very shallow at one end and good for kids and another pool for 'proper' swimming. Plenty of sun beds to go round. The attached supermarket is woefully overpriced in comparison with the others in the resort and they do get shirty if you purchase items from other shops – hide anything you bring in! Excellent location for the beach. Overall, we would recommend the hotel.
We stayed here from the 26/09 to 03/10 and had a very enjoyable break. Unfortunately the resort is geared towards the archetypal British holiday maker with over 70% of bars showing football seven days a week. As you would imagine most of the shops sell cheap tat and have more fake (badly faked!) Burberry and other ‘designer’ clothing that any chav or chavette could ever want. Having said that, the atmosphere is relaxed and despite football being on all the time the bars are very friendly. The beach is very good (though a little dirty) and is safe for families as the sea remains very shallow for about 100 metres. Overall we would recommend the resort for a relaxing holiday (didn’t once experience drunken yobs), though don’t expect a traditional Greek village or culture.
As a meat eater I was more than happy with the meal and service and couldn’t fault the food. My other half who is a veggie (but eats fish) found the food not that great. She ordered a salmon fillet and was presented with a bland salmon steak and veg. There are no veggie options on the menu. A very busy place and I would advise booking a table. Would recommend the place.
Couldn’t fault the food or service.
This was the only place we ate at more than once and found the food very good and the service was spot on - not to slow or quick. Had a very good choice for veggies and the Greek meat dishes were very good. Would definitely recommend the place.
The first place we ate at and we had a very good meal. The Lamb Kleftico was probably the best I had all week. Limited choice for veggies though and a very busy restaurant.

Again as a meat eater no issues with my food. My other half ordered cod fillet and expected a fillet of cod cooked in a traditional Greek way with a good Greek sauce so she was a little shocked to be presented with battered cod and chips – all it needed was the mushy peas! Service was OK and instead of shots after the meal they gave us nasty spongy key rings!
Further to my other comments below – I forgot to mention the airport. Quite honestly the experience at the airport on the return flight ruined the holiday (and this was a view echoed by others who we spoke to) and until the airport is sorted out we would NOT recommend the Island despite recommending the resort. The airport is totally inadequate for the number of flights that are scheduled and I really am surprised that the Tour Operators have scheduled so many flights for the same day. Even a bit of common sense could alleviate some of the problem. We had to queue (along with about 1500 other people) outside in the Midday sun for 2 hours just to check in and then once checked in you then had to join another for a similar length of time to get through passport control. It was only because our flight started boarding whilst in the Passport control queue that we managed to jump this queue in order not to miss our flight home! The tour reps (Thomas Cook) keep us completely in the dark and provided no information about queue length or times or even when we could check in – quite frankly appalling communication from them. A second terminal is under construction so hopefully this will improve things. I can only imagine it must be hell in the height of the season with kids having to queue in that heat for so long and I’m amazed people didn’t suffer from heat stroke.

Take plenty of water and food to eat!
