The accommadation was extremely basic but clean. We stayed in the newer studio apartments up the back. The pool area is small and spends a significant amount of the day in the shade due to the design of the surrounding buildings. It is aproxmiately 600m from the main T junction in Argassi town. Would not return however.

Unfortunately we found Argassi to be a rather distasteful resort. It is dirty and quite frankly a tacky resort with the usual banal bars and activities. The only saving grace of Argassi is it's close proximity to Zante captial town. There is no beach to speak off and what beach area exists is filty. Visitors should be prepared to either hire a bicylcle to go to Vasilikos or Kalamaki where the nearest beaches are. However we'd recommend hiring a car and leaving Argassi behind and only use it as base. Tacky horrible resort. Would never return!

Argassi does not have a beacj in the true sense of the word. All hotels border the sea area and in gneeral there is appromixatley 1 or 2 meters of pebble/shingle/sand between the hotel and seawater. If anyone tells you there is a beach in Argassi they are lying. Nearest beach is at Vasillikos and Kalamake. Hire a bicycle/scooter/car and get the hell out of that miserable town.
