never been to zante and having a look at all the various resorts (not 18-30 so rules out laganas). do like to have a few lively bars etc. thinking of kalamaki at the mo but not 100% sure. which is the busy resort:- alykanas or alykes? and how far by taxi/coach from the airport? any feedback be really appreciated.

Never been to kalamaki, staying at dionysis apartments (think close to Exotica hotel) - is this bar close by?? Thanks

stayed at the apartments. bar was fab - brothers great fun!

i have just came back from kalamaki and only seen the caretta bay hotel while out for a walk but it looked beautiful.

pool area was all i seen but if the rest of the hotel is on a par you will love it.

The hotel is in a good location, maybe 5 mins to start of bars and restaurants and prob bout 15mins to Kalamaki beach.

Maybe when you arrive you will think its a bit rural but its ok once you get your bearings.

yes there was a tremor when we were there - but wasnt bad coz slept thro it.

was there from 19th may for one week and heather was not there.
