Hi Will be staying at the Admirals end of June for two weeks. First time there. Have a ten year old and brochure said kids club available. Have read some reports to say that there is mothing for the kids. Specifically booked the holiday for the kids clib. Can someone put my mind at rest that the kids club is actually available. Also have a ten month old and brochure said there was a Beach Babes club a couple of times a week for babies. Is this true. Thanks for taking the time to read and please reply

Hi Helena Thankyou so much for taking time to reply. I definately feel better now and am once again looking forward to my holiday. Not too fussed about Beach Babes, althogh it would be nice to get a couple of hours without keeping watch. Thak you again, and I will report back on my return. Regards Annamarie
I will be going to Tsillivi in a week. I have a 1 yr who is just starting to eat normal food. Obviously there will not be a great deal meal wise he can eat as he only samples food at the moment. Could anybody tell me if its easy to get jars/tins baby food there. I dont want to have to carry 28 jars of food with me if I dont need to. Struggling with fitting his stuff already as he has no baggage limit.
Hi Vanessa,
Hi Dawn
A totally honest opinion as we stayed there at the end of June for 2
weeks. T he place is lovely and clean, the maids are excellent. The
food at Popeyes and Grecco is amazing as are most of the other
resturauants. The food at the Admirals is as good. The beach is small
but excellent for kids.
HOWEVER
The rooms are abismal...... It in no way could be classed as a 1
bedroom. The only seperation is a thin sliding door. The kitchen,
wardrobes and 2 single beds in one bit and a double bed and dressing
table in the other. No room whatsoever. The fridge does not keep things
cool either. If we had not had a spare bed we would have had no where
to put our empty cases or anything. There is no air con and it cost
2.50 euro to hire a fan per day. They are old and noisy.
The evening entertainment was not really anything, some quizzes, some
drinking games for all the people who want to get totally drunk. There
is absolutely nothing for the kids to do in the evening, apart from
wander around the resort playing with a friend. Yes they were noisy but
bless them, they have nothing else to do. The kids club was ok......
when it was on. And one of the nights you have to pay for them to go
for 3 hours. I think it is on 3 nights upto 8pm and the day one a
couple of hours either 12-2 or 2-4. I had a ten yr old and it could
have been so much better.
I would never go there again. The Island is lovely but my experience
has put me off. . My daughter was so bored that she spent a few hours
in the pool and then sat indoors reading.
Im sorry to be so negative in this way and im sure there was a lot of
people who enjoyed it and people on here who will disagree but this is
my honest opinion of the place. Oh and buy some and powder/spray as the
come on the balconies and bite........
Wish you had asked before booking, as I wish I had done.

Hi
I am neither igonorant or miserable and paid £1300 for my CHEAP
holiday. I do not have a problem with the Admirals but with the way it
is portraid in the brochure by Thomas Cook. I have had many great
holidays with them but had they really given a true description I would
not have booked the holiday. The kids club was cancelled 3 times whilst
we were there, and as I also took my 1 yr old with me, I was obviuosly
not looking to GET RID of my kids so I could get p....d. I stand by my
origional comments that although the place was immaculate and the maids
etc were excellent, the rooms are appalling and I paid for the Kids
Club in my holiday which added a fair amount to the price and my
daughter was disappointed when it kept being cancelled. It was her
holiday as well......
Annamarie
Hi
Yes it was supposed to be in with the price. We went to Lanzarote the
year before and had to pay for the clib out there which was fine. But
this was supposed to be all in and was more expensive as a result.
No we were not informed that she could use the other kids club. So Im
not miserable just bitterly disappointed and it was not what you would
call a cheap holiday so we could say ah well, you get what you pay for.
So as I said, its not the Admirals that was the problem and we have taken it further with Thomas Cook.
