We had some lovely meals here 4 time's in total, the food is well presented and the staff were lovely.  Say hi to Frank from cam and Nat they thought he was brill He and Amie work really hard and give a fantastic service. up stairs on the roof is a must the view is brill but don't go up on a windy day!!.

Spare ribs are a filler.  and smaller portions for kids are also avalible on all the meals but can be just as big.

Zepos Taverna - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Jude

Zepos down by the beach  lovely meal house wine was one of the best, some in other place where very bad ( ask for a taste first or just be prepared to drink bad wine, fantastic food, roast poatotes like you have never tasted before fantastic. be aware that food  is not normally serviced roasting hot ( not that we had any cold meals) that is unless u have soup or something that is cooked in a pot then it's hotter than the sand at mid day, we added ice to my son's soup and it still took years to cool down enough to eat it but he enjoyed it once it did

The service was brill and they give u a feed back form at the end of your meal to help improve there already brill service and food.
sadly we didn't discover zepo's till late on in our hol and had no time to return but, we would return again.

Baccus Grill - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

Jude   (13 June 2005)

Also Known as Vakhos it's opposite the Cavo D'oro, We had one good meal in the restrautant I had the special plate, vine leaves and all lovely veggie things i really enjoyed it, the staff are happy, the house White is one of the worst that we had tasted. The second meal was a very different story. The starters were wrong, ok mistakes happen. then we waited what seamed like hours. think it was almost 1and Half for our main meal and my meal went back into the kitchen 3 times till is was right, i had stuffed fillet of sole but asked for no chips but veg not too difficult i thought.  The Scampi portions were small and it was more expensive than in other restraustants not good value. the food was poor but by the time it arrived we were so hungry we cud of eaten a scabby dog and the was some about by the beach, we did discuse our disappiontment about our meal but were meet with disapproval then to add insult in injury and found that they had charged me twice on my credit card for the meal. ( lesson on that one pay by cash!!!) it was one of the worst meals of our holiday and we eat out every night of our 2 week hol

Kalamaki Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

Jude

We had a Great Time the Turtles our out there and are great ot see, IT'S BEST FOR THE TURTLES TO SEE THEM FROM A PEDDLO THEY ARE OUT THERE AND IF YOU LOOK YOU WILL SEE THEM, THE BOAT TRIPS ARE OK BUT THEY DO HARASS THESE FANTISTIC ANIMALS WHICH IS NOT GOOD AND IT'S BETTER FOR YOUR FIGURE MORE ROOM FOR LOVELY MEALS AT THE ROOF GARDEN.

We walked to Lagana on a colder day it was about an hours stroll with some lovely sand, but the sand at Laganas was not so good A BIT HARD and it is a lot more noisey and lively than Kalamki, we were pleased we had not stayed there, Kalamaki was safe for the kids, with enough to do. unless of course you need the stimulation of Blackpool then it's possibly too quite and you would be better in Laganas.
The cave bar in Kalamaki was a lovely place the kids enjoyed it up there and a good view.

We stayed inthe Cavo D'oro a little noisy thin walls I think.
and animals to wake u in the moring I cud of shot that cockerel. It was clean the maid service was good, and the receptionsists very helpful (Both English) The pool area was cleaned evey night Harry and His Mum in Harry's BAR Made us very welcome. food VERY good value and yummy. We would visit again kids would go back tomorrow, they had a great time!!!

BUT PLEASE IF YOU GO CAN YOU TAKE YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU. IT REALLY UPSET ME THAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE PERPARED TO SPOIL THIS FANTASTIC PLACE FOR OTHERS. BY LEAVING RUBBISH ON THE BEACH. THIS IS A PROTECTED BEACH AND THE TURTLES ARE IMPORTANT TO THE AREA AND THE ISLAND. TAKE YOUR RUBBISH TO A BIN!!!
