I've never placed a comment here but like to keep up to date on all the messages so I check it every week, but I just felt I had to reply to Carol's totally unfair and out of order comments about the entertainment and people who stay at the admirals. you obviously have no idea what fun and hard work are because the people you have slated are fun loving holiday makers  (most of them with families like myself) and the others are staff who work particluarly hard to make our time enjoyable. We stayed at the admirals last year and although we can't afford to return this year, we have booked up for next year and really looking forward to it. Maybe if she came down off her high horse and let her hair down she would discover that she was the only one not having a good time, having so said I prefer not to holiday with stuck up, self righteous people who complain all the time. And just for the record my husband and I work very hard to pay for our holidays and know that by going to the admirals it's worth it. so Carol my advice to you is GET A LIFE!!!

ditto Helena couldn't have said it better myself - she should email Carol and go on holiday with her! what a bunch of old moaners. You suggested that Carol went with Saga, I disagree because they wouldn't like that either - old people like to talk and have fun too and this pair sound as if they wouldn't know how to enjoy themselves!! What's the problem with kids playing football and people drinking to have a good time? That's what we do when we go and I have no intention whatsever of stopping my kids and us having fun no matter what the time is. As far as tiny and stuffy is concerned she's way off line and if she's looking for air-con she obviously didn't read the brochure before the holiday was booked because it stipulates that there isn't any. The brochure also tells you that there is entertainment every night so what does she expect? All tucked in and sleeping for 10pm?

Hi Helena, this is getting to be a habit for me to be on the message board I don't normally get involved in these things but to be honest I'm really quite enjoying it! We're going on the 10th May (I think) it's round that date. Are you going this year again? It's a shame we're going to miss each other cos I think you and I could have a good natter over there? Will someone please set up a special complaints site for the Admirals so people can post their views on there instead of here? I'm fed up listening to people who don't know how to have a good time and can't concentrate on agreeing with the other people who obviously like to enjoy themselves!

Hi Michael, just want to say that the entertainments team do a great job and it's impossible to keep everyone happy We stayed at the Admirals 2 years ago and then we stayed at the Planos Appts last October. This year we're returning in may to the Admirals and can't wait so we'll see you then and keep up the good work

dirty pool? never found that to be a problem. Sure there's some people let their kids run wild. I've got 2 kids and I let them run. Wouldn't like to think they were in the "wild" category and as far as shortage of sunbeds is concerned, if you know the towel owners aren't going to be there til 12 noon, then move the towels. I did The reps and staff do their best to please us but we all know you can't please everybody. We all look for different things in a holiday so if you find that a particular resort does't suit then you learn from your mistakes and not return.
