We picked our time to miss families with sprogs, maybe that has some bearing on the negative comments that have been posted.

We have just had a brilliant holiday at the Pothos again. The weather was hot and sunny as you'd expect but if you haven't been to these apartments before then you are in for a treat.

The staff are amazing and can't do enough for you, the pool is spotless and looked after by Dennis. Cooked breakfasts by Reena were just right. In the evenings Helen and Dimitri look after every guest and make your holiday memorable. The appartments were relaxing, quiet and clean thanks to Voula and Reena. Dimitri's dad (the quiet man) cut the grass and watered the plants.

In the evenings we had a really good crowd and drank shots whilst playing killer pool, doing the quiz, singing at karaoke (badly) or just sat around laughing, drinking and having fun. Dimitri and Helen invented new cocktails and served up old favourites.

Special mention to new friends, Emma, Sarah, Christine and Mike, Mandy, Dave and family.

We ate at Zorbas several times during our stay in Alykes, August 9-23. and no-one in our party had a bad meal.

I can recommend the beef stifado, lamb kleftiko, mousaka and the pork souvlaki. The meals were tasty, traditional, well presented and filling.

 

Well worth a visit
