just come back from arkadinioas appartments we loved it, the room was basic but we dident go there to stay in the room all day... all the staff where great. and we found out that if you give the room maids a few euros tip every few days your room looked that little bit cleaner.. its real cheep to eat out there we was paying around 30 euros for 2 adults and 1 child for starters and mains and drinks that works out around under £25.. we also found a great place called fatsos where you could eat as much as you wanted for one set price. take breakfast for example 4 euros for as much as you can eat and evening meal i think was 6.95 with a wide selection of as much as you can eat it was great and easy to find walk down that main street in lagana away from the sea called bar street and turn right down the kalamaki road go down for a few hundred yrds and it comes up on your right all the beer is cheep the best is the local beet called MYTHOS it tastes real nice and buying it from the local shops is about 1 to 1.50 euros and in the bars about 2.50 euros we realy had a great time and would go back again any questions email me on grandriverrat2005@yahoo.co.uk
