A big Hi to all at Dias!
We stayed for two weeks on this amazing island at Caretta Beach Hotel which was literally a turtle's throw away from the best restaurant around! We ate at Dias more times than all the other places on the island put together! Feeling a bit hungover or under the weather in the morning? Then head striaght to Dias for the best breakfast on the Island and a chat with some of the soundest guys around! We recommend the full english...with no tomato of course!! Frappes aren't bad either!!
We also ate most nights at Dias. It isn't hard to keep coming back to the same place when your constantly being so warm heartedly greeted at this amazing restaurant! I reckon the six of us easily got through the entire menu 20times over!!Lets just say cows are now an endangered species in Kalamaki thanks to all the steak we ate!!Steak lovers forget about the grill house or anywhere else that "claims" to have good steak because Dias has the nicest steak on the entire island! The food was so filling and nice that not once could I finish a three course meal! Anybody who can eat a Spainish omelette for starters ( I reckon there was at least four eggs in there!) followed by a huge steak soaked in any one of the tasty sauces and topped off with a dynamite dessert ( literally dynamite - wait until you see that sparkler coming towards you!) deserves a massive round of applause! Hopefully you'll get to try the fourth course aswell - a simple drink called Raki!
What is Raki? Eat here long enough and you'll find out! Let's just say we're Irish and it blew our minds!!Thanks again for everything lads and I hope you do remember us - we're the six Irish you took such good care of. If not don't worry I'm sending you a photo taken the night of the Ireland/France game when you were dressed in our Irish hats and scarves! You can stick it up on your bill board beside the toilets!!!
See you all next year - enjoy yourselves when the season ends because you guys work so damn hard!!
Cheers!!!!
