The two bedroom apartment we were allocated was filthy, damp and moldy and had already been refused by a family earlier the day we arrived. I cannot begin to describe how filthy it was - there were only three filthy cups and plates and the fridge had black mold growing all over it. Manos reps were so unhelpful that we ended up paying for our own accommodation on top of what we had already paid for the holiday! Passed the apartment every day on the way to the beach - they had maids in there trying to air it out by leaving the mattresses etc out in the sun!!. Have been to Tsilivi six years running and absolutely adore the place and this was the only bad experience we had ever had. We will never travel with Manos again the rep's were absolutely useless and the area manager was a complete and utter liar!!!.
Oh dear, Oh dear, Oh dear. This was our favourite restaurant in Tsilivi, the food was fantastic and there was a great atmosphere and we ate here most nights.......right up until Toni & Angela left. Then we found the service slow and the atmosphere as flat as a pancake. I doubt we'll be back next year unless Toni & Angela are......
Oh lordy - you'll know this place by the scary moustachio'd (Think of an evil looking Mario brother) man on the door trying to drag people in (even shouting at you from across the street!!!) We thought we'd give it a miss and friends that did go were less than impressed..
Please don't mistake the OLIVE TREE (fab!!) up with the OLIVE GARDEN (naff!). We had some of the loveliest food at the Olive Tree that we've ever had in Tsilivi. The mussels a la chef were simply divine. The owner, Lakis, is always happy to see you, the service quick and the food simply superb. They may not be the cheapest but personally I'd rather pay a bit more and get something a bit different to souvlaki & chips!
This is probably a bit late for your Stephen but you can book these through Cosmos.
