Kalamaki beach is great for familys of all ages, and our 19mounth daughter loved playing in the sand and paddling in the clear blue sea.Hiring a canoe or peddaloe is really cheep and is a great way to see the Loggerhead Turtles without paying for the boat trips to see them.and if you dont mind a walk you walk down to lagana along the beach. I would deffently recomend this beach to other familys.

 We really enjoyed our stay in Kalamaki, everyone is really friendly and make you feel very welcome  all of the family enjoyed the nightlife there with there variaty of karioke, greek nights, quizes and just fun. We enjoyed going to down under as all age groups in the family enjoyed it there was quizes for the adult the bar staff always put on a show and theres a man dressed as a Kangeroo to entertain the children. There is plenty of very good resterants with really good meals and great kids menus as well. the shops are the usual souvernier jobs but all youreally need for your family hol.
