Strofades Hotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Have just returned from a week at the Strofades Beach Hotel and it was the best holiday we have ever had.
The hotel is fantastic, lovely pool area, great room with balcony over looking the pool and out to the beach and sea. Everywhere was clean and tidy, room had air con and fridge which were well used.
The beach is a 2 min walk away and great for a stroll along in the morning after breakfast, which is served until 10 and always packed with food.
Pool bar is lovely for lunch and the shaded seating area is just what you need to escape the sun for a while.
It is far enough out of the centre to be nice and quiet, but is only a 10 min stroll along a well lit road into the centre, with great bars and restaurants.
I've already been pricing up 2 weeks in 2007!

This was our favourite restaurant and the only one we went to twice.
The food is good, but the staff really make this restaurant fantastic. REally lovely, helpful, remember you from last time and just created a great atmosphere in the restaurant.
Although we don't have kids, you could see them really taking time with the kids in the restaurant.
It's also in a great location, one a corner and slightly raised up above street level, so great for watching the world go by.

WE ate here on our second to last night and wish we had found it sooner.
I agree that the food portions are huge and my moussaka could have fed a family of 4 comfortably!We had lovely starter of spring roll and onion rings which were lovely and then went Greek for the main courses, I had moussaka and OH had meatballs, both were fantastic.
Only comment is leave out the starter and treat yourself to one of their crepes for dessert. I was so full that I couldn't manage one and the people at the next table's looked and smelt wonderful

We loved this bar and was the only one that we kept going back to, although it was a bit of a trek from where we were staying
I loved the music and the staff we really nice and helpful. cocktails were lovely and we had a great time each night
Would definitely visit again next year
