Zakantha Hotel - (Accommodation in Argassi)

My fiance and I stayed from the 1st till the 8th of June and loved it so much that we plan to go back for our honeymoon next year.

We were lucky enough to get a sea view room on the 2nd floor and as you'd expect the view was gorgeous.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Monika who works on the bar gets everyone talking to each other.

Breakfast is more than enought to get you started for the day with fruits, bread, sausage, eggs, bacon etc and the snack bar by the beach does really nice food at reasonable prices.

Can't wait to go back.

Granada - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Delicious food, great service and a really nice atmosphere. The Lamb Kleftiko (sp?) was absolutely delicious.

Laganas Resort - (Resorts in Zante)

We stayed in Argassi but visited Laganas twice during the day time.

The beach is great and if you walk past the port area where alot of tour boats go from you get to a wooden bridge which leads over to an island with two small bars on it. It's really lovely.

There's an endless choice of restaurants and bars along the front for sun loungers, drinks and food. Totem is a small bar about half way down which serves really nice cocktails.

The sea is really shallow and warm too.

We didn't venture out there at night as it's a bit too 18-30's for me. (been there, done that in Magaluff in `99). Prefer a more relaxed pace these days but for a day out I couldn't knock it.

Argassi Resort - (Resorts in Zante)

I loved Argassi and can't wait till we go back for our honeymoon next year.

Fair enough the beach isn't up to much but there are plenty of hotels with pools and pool bars open to all right along the front.

It's also pretty cheap to get around the island so we went to the beach at Laganas on two days.

There's a brilliant choice of restaurants. The lamb kleftiko in Granada was really really good.

We also liked Premier and ate there twice.

The views from the Target Bar are beautiful and they run a free mini bus from 7-9pm. You just wait at the bottom of the hill and they'll pick you up.

There's a good range of bars too, favourites being Tropicana and Kiss.

It's a great resort and a perfect base to explore other parts of the island.
