Been visiting Kalamaki for 5 years now.  Mermaids used to give a good meal...not any longer! During my last visit, my son had surf and turf for 15 euros.  The steak was very small and only three pieces of scampi!!!  All our meals were very small and poor value, they have cut down on staff so the wait for your meal is a long time.

Had two lovelly meals at Stani' this year, I love the food and the surroundings.  Staff are always attentive and  helpful, well worth a visit if you go to Kalamaki

Have visited Kalamaki 5 times now, three times have been at Amaryllis.  It lovely and clean, Staff are friendly and helpful, air con brilliant, when green shutters closed at night leaves room nice and dark for the morning, so no bright daylight waking you up too early!  Close to restaurants and beach, brilliant location! Always had a brilliant stay at Kalamaki, if you get chance, Stani's, Michaeos, and Zepo's are great restaurants, best avoid mermaids unless you like a long wait for a small meal!

Just come back from a week at Amaryllis.  This is my 4th visit to Amaryllis as it is just sooo relaxing!

I have been visiting Zante now for 6 years and always visit Stani's.  As usual we had a fantastic time.  The food is always fantastic and really good value.  This year is the first time I have visted on Sunday night which is the greek night with dancing etc.  I really enjoyed it the atmosphere was really great.  During our visit this year it was during a heatwave, even the evenings were really hot, with Stani's being a seafront restaurant it was alot cooler than the other restaurants we visited.  The views are great, food always great, staff are the most friendly, and always create a relaxing fun night.  This is my favorite restaurant, if I get chance I sometimes even visit for a breakfast!

Last year my visit to Paolo's was not very very good as the food was poor for the value you pay.  This year I thought  I'd give it another go, I was glad I did.  The restaurant was full which is normally a good sign.  The food we had was good, the only fault with the restaurant was the waiters.  The waiter we had was grumpy and distracted.  He was always looking round the restaurant and you had to keep repeating yourself before he actually looked at you (or glared) and wrote it down.  I checked, he did this to everyone except the table of single women.  It was quite funny it reminded me of a comedy show, I was waiting for him the throw the plates down!  Anyway if you don't mind waiters that don't like visitors you will have a great night (he might of just had an off night!).

 When I first visited Zante 6 years ago Mermaids gave a brilliant meal, loads of food, you even had to queue to get in.  Last year we visited and the food quality was really poor, and very little of it...but after trying Paolo's again and being pleased I though I'd give this a second try too.  I wish I hadn't I must admit it is not busy all week seats were available, I should have taken that sign and not gone in.  Food portions are small and I don't think it gives value for money especially with such good quality restaurants around such as Stani's, zepo's and Michaelos.  (I've just read that comments are being removed, I hope they are not as I always read up on comments before I visit and would rather have everyones views good and bad before I make up my mind!).

Another brilliant night, I always come back to Zepos as guaranteed fantastic food and great service and atmosphere.  The starters are HUGE!!!  I think next year I will just have a starter and then pudding!  Dinners are fab, also get a bit of a sea breeze on a really hot night!

I had one week at St John Villas in July and wished I had booked two!  We stayed in the Orchid Villa, as a family with two teenage boys.  The stay could not have been more perfect.  The pool was great, it was really nice not having to share the pool with loads of kids in armbands and lilos, it meant we could mess around playing ball etc without having to worry about anyone else.  I have never spent so much time in the pool.  Everywhere was so clean and it is so quiet, a really relaxing holiday.  The maids were lovely and kept the villa and patio spotless.  Through St John villas we had a cab waiting for us at the airport which was great as we landed at 5am!  Trudie had organised it (and was waiting for us at the villa) so the villa was waiting for us ready at 6.30 am (normally it is 11.30) which was fantastic as we were shattered!

I would like to say a big thanks to Trudie and all of the staff at St John Villas for making our holiday a relaxing stay.

 Just got back from a week in Tsilivi in July.  We hired a car so we could go back to Kalamaki in the evening to visit a few fab restaurants.  Stani's is always one of my favorite restaurants.  The atmosphere is so relaxed and the view is fantastic,  Stani's definately make the best Mousaka on the Island!
