Cavo Doro Hotel - (Accommodation in Kalamaki)

Kevin S

My wife, myself and our 4 year old daughter have just returned from the Cavo Doro from where we escaped on 28th September. When I say escaped that is exactly what it feels like, in fact if we hadn't been on the second floor of our block we would have tried digging a tunnel to escape earlier! The front entrance to the "hotel" is never shown in the brochures, imagine a run down off licence in a poor part of your town and you might be getting close. The rooms are dark, dismal, under equipped (two electric rings of no confidence) and very, very cramped. Blood stains abound from previous prisoners battles with the persistent Mosquito's. No television, no toaster, no kettle, I have heard of self catering before but that is a bit extreme. Paper thin walls do not mask even the tiniest sounds from the adjoining apartments, please pray that the neighbours don't eat a dodgy curry! Would we go back? Only with a crane equipped with a dirty great wrecking ball!

Deppys - (Restaurants in Kalamaki)

A home from home in the resort of Kalamaki. Brilliant service, excellent food 100% recommended by myself, my wife, and our four year old daughter Erin (please can I have some more Yorkshire Puddings and gravy Wendy?) Use this restaurant, you will never be dissapointed
