Ambrosia - (Restaurants in Alykes)
10/10Just got back and ate at Ambrosia 4 times, the food was excellent and the Pizza's are the best in town, everyone we spoke to was saying the same thing. I think it is under new ownership as the waitresses where very polite and looked after us very well.
Jungle Bar - (Bars in Alykes)
10/10Great bar good atmosphere both in the evening and at night, owners are Man Utd fans so no wonder its one of the best bars in town
Koukounaria Hotel - (Accommodation in Alykes)
5/10Just returned and was very disappointed with the room .We paid for an appartment but the room we received was basically a studio with a pair of patio sliding doors in the middle (not great when you have two daughters of 10 & 13). Also you would expect that when you book a self catering appartment you would at least get a kettle and a toaster included, not so here you have to pay.
That said the rest of the hotel facilities are very good, the staff very freindly and the pool excellent. Also you can cut through the double side gates behind the main block to the main resort centre which is a safer walk at night.
