a big hi to our greek family. we returned from zante on 16th september after 2 glorious weeks. we had such a wonderful time as we always do, we still enjoy it as much now as we did 8 years ago. for those of you who read this and have never been to friends bar, we have been going now for 8 years twice a year and you do not know what you are missing, you will not find a nicer bunch of people anywhere on the island, i can guarantee you will have laughs a plenty from the owners yannis and thespina to ilias and memis who work behind the bar and also not to forget sonya who waits on the tables and gregorio who is a master with the music system. and last but not least to our american greek andy. we love you all and look forward to seeing you next year.

Anetis Hotel - (Accommodation in Tsilivi)

Bev C          10/10

We returned from the Anetis on 16th September having spent 2 weeks at this fantastic hotel.Cry We had been advised to stay here by our friends Paul and Rachael as we had not stayed here before. We would like to thank Dennis and all his family, especially his father for shuttling us to and from the airport and for making our stay so pleasantClap. The hotel is very clean and spacious and virtually on the beach, it does not have a swimming pool but who needs a pool when you have the beach and a bar on your doorstep and also a great view from the balcony. We were very happy here and will definately come back to the Anetis again.Embarrassed

Fat Olives - (Restaurants in Tsilivi)

Bev C  (21 September 2007)        10/10

tongueif you want a fantastic meal in a mediterranean style setting then fat olives is for you. it is up in the planos area of tsilivi which is slightly out of town but if you really want to try it which i think you definately should it will only cost you a couple of euros in a taxi. we have eaten here on quite a few occasions and cannot fault any of the dishes we had tasted. james who owns the restaurant is a lovely man and always makes you feel very welcome. we have been been going to tsilivi twice a year for 8 years and we have sampled the good with the bad and i can assure you this restaurant is top notch. james, if you read this keep up the good work, good luck with the restaurant and and we will see you next year.tongue

best wishes
