Al Sondros - great bar with english speaking hosts. Lee (owner) always smiling smugly, but thats the only expression you'll ever get out of him. This guy is LAID BACK!!!! Pretty bar maids, good music, and games to play (chess, draughts, etc). Sadly no Pub Jenga this year, but made up for by the live music which we had a hand in this year too, thanks to Dr Allen (the oldest hippy on the island). Drinks are a bit pricey, but playa gig and free beer will be yours...

DON'T GO TO THE POOL BAR!!! If you are going to the Cava Doro you need only to go to the bar at the front, forget anything else. Yakkis, Yanni and the lovely Georgia (possibly insane) will provide you with the best nights in Kalamaki, probably the whole island too. Loads of free cocktails, cheap beers (even cheaper if by the staff drinks too, he he), Georgia gets the Karaoke going with loads of free shots, and will always sing with you. Yakkis is as sound as you can get and will help you out with ANYTHING at all, in fact he was way better than our Rep. Yanni, I guess is the DJ, thanks for the KC + Sunshine Band CD mate. Last thing - If anyone scores more than 158'000 on Match Up, then TOBASHCHA wanna know about it!!! If you go anywhere in Kalamaki - go here and tell them Tobes and the Freestyler sent you.

We won free hire through a Quiz at the pool bar behind Merlis and as there were 6 of us did a deal to get 2 cars. Got the bunty ALto things - but they were ok though, once you get the breeze they are not too bad. Cars were delivered and collect from us, great. Helpful English service, fully comp insurance. No Hassle. Perfect.

5 out of 6 of our meals were inedible. Way too much Cinnamon, don't know why, Moussaka tasted like Cake. Mine was ok though (spaghetti somethingorother) Nice view
