Will be returning to Zante next May and once again will be asking Julie to leave me a car at the airport so I can drive myself  to Antonis apartments in Kalamaki. Used Merlis for the 1st time last week. Excellent service, met at the airport even though the plane was late. Good value and no hidden extras. Forget the other companies, try this one!

 We read a lot of reviews about Merlis car hire & Julie the lady whom runs it so we e-mailed Julie which we would recommened as she is very busy.She let us have Herbie one of the older cars in the fleet but still a very good looked after car. When you book everything is included in the price no hidden details. As for Julie she is one of the most helpful people we have met she can't do enough to help you & she's got a great pesonality thanks for helping to make our holiday Julie. Geoff  Sue

Hired a car from Julie for our full two weeks. As arranged the car was awaiting our arrival at the airport, a Hyundai Matrix. Good sized car, and handy when peeps were needing a lift, but think we'll probably hire a smaller car next year. Service was, as usual excellent, even when Andrew noticed the brakes making a noise, nipped it back to Julie and within the hour it had been fitted with new brake pads, how's that for service? Quick Fit, eat your hearts out!!!!! Drove all over the island this time, fab, but will still hire a car next year for the whole duration I think, thanks Julie, see you next June

Julie is absolutely brilliant and is very professional.  Wouldnt hesitate to use Merlis again.

Julie makes hiring a car such an easy process, booked over the internet during the winter knowing that when Julie says 9.30 delivery at the hotel thats when it will be   Already booked for Sept.

Can't fault this company which I've used several times before, excellent service and value. Worth using if only  to ask Julie what she thinks of dentists. The only drawback is that Julie doesn't speak English very well as she is a Mackem from Co Durham - see you next year Julie

I could type loads on here about how good this company is, but all you have to do is read all the other posts.They really are Very Good . We have been going to Zakynthos for over a decade and have hired cars nearly every time. This is the best company by far.FACT.

First time we have hired a car in Zakynthos, and thankfully we chose Merlis, having being recommended by others who use this site. Julie was most helpful, providing a list of places to visit and a map of the island (not that you could get lost for long, and why worry anyway, all roads lead home, eventually!!!). The car was clean, tidy and dropped off at our accommodation at the time arranged when we booked via the internet. The price was good and included full insurance cover. We would definitely use Merlis again.

What can I say - Julie pulled out all stops again. Such friendly and atentive service and good cars.

hired a car for 3 days, good little runaround, great price, went all around the island, it was brilliant, always go to julie for our car hire, she's a star!

Hired over the Net prior to arriving for 3 weeks in July/August. Julie was quick to respond to our email & the quote was by far the best that we had been given. Jacqui was there to meet us at the airport & the paperwork was done smoothly. Our Suzuki Jimny Jeep was excellent. Luckily for us it was brand new, only 300km on the clock. Both Jacqui & Julie gave us tips on the best places to visit.

All in all, a great company to do business with....friendly & helpful staff.

We hired a car from Merlis for 4 days out of our recent 1 week break in Zante.

JUST GOT BACK AND YET AGAIN THE SCOOTERS WE HIRED WERE FANTASTIC NEVER LET US DOWN ONCE, WE ALSO HIRED TWO 4X4 KIA SPORTS FOR TWO DAYS AND YET AGAIN THESE WERE ALSO WELL LOOKED AFTER CLEAN INSIDE AND OUT AND VERY AFFORDABLE ( SEE PHOTO'S ) WILL DEFO BE USING YOU AGAIN NEXT YEAR JULIE THANK YOU VERY MUCH

We hired a car from Julie who provides such an excellent service.  The price we paid was very good and the information Julie gave us helped us decide where to go that we had not covered before.  We would certainly hire from her again.
