im going to the elpida in august this year im a first timer on the island and any tips on the apartments and area be very welcome thanks
we got a bargain with thomas cook we were going to florida all booked but due to the credit crunch and lack of funds we transfered it to the cheapest elpida come up at 1 week £774 for a 1 bed apt and 3 people 2 adults and my 13 yr old classed as a adult though!!!!!!!

we are going in august for a week and this train sounds like fun we are sure to try it especially the wine!!!!!!
just got back had a great time, here lovely family run hotel in the country next to a farm so yes cockerels do make a rackett!!! but you get used to it.
pool area lovely,nice bar selling a good variety of snacks,small shop with all the bits you will need,we had a one bedroom apartment with a upstairs basic but clean and very big.
near shops bars and restaurants not far from beach lovely
had meze here last week and was ill for 2 days dodgy belly,dont go here
went here twice last week on our holiday very nice had gyro pittas 2 euro to eat in and 1.60 to takeaway very tasty mmmmmmmmmmmm
didnt go here cos they hassled us everytime we walked by
nice meal here lovely atmosphere and horse and cart there and free mini bus back
Well we booked last week with Thomas cook and was a bit disappointed there must have been 300 people on the boat took hours to get there and the coach picked us up half hour late!!!!we got to shipwreck beach and was only on there 40 mins which wasn't long enough,very long day
went on this trip last week went to st nicolas port to la grotto restaurant first they took us on boat to blue caves which was lovely,then back to restaurant for food and wine was lovely entertainment was really good had a right old laugh well worth the money
well was surprised that the airport wasnt as bad as i thought it was..
nice big duty free shop small snack shop expensive but always are in airports...
not bad but hot need air conditioning turnly up!!!

well what can i say...beautitful!!the scenery was out of this world lovely resort, lovely friendly people,cheap places to eat,good gift shops with really lovely cheap gifts all shops got same things but some have diffrent and all diffrent prices so shop around..beach is great very clean can see your feet,watersports on beach,lots of places to eat on beach spoilt for choice...if you like walking theres a variety of diffrent walks you can walk to alykes the next resort very nice lots of shops,bars,restaurants..we walked to old alykanas beach which was lovely and had lunch in the shoestrings restaurant...we have just booked for next year cant wait
