I am getting married on Cameo Island in June and would like to have my reception in Kalamaki. The Zakanthi has been recommended to me but I can't find a website/contact info for them. I see from the reviews that other people have had their reception there and would like some advise. Thanks
We must have eaten here on a bad day as our experience does not match with other reviews. I ordered potato skins and was presented with a plate full of potato peel, it was revolting. The meal did not improve, my main was small and bland. My husband's meal was no better and when he ordered an espresso to get rid of the bad taste in his mouth, he was presented with a filter coffee in a tiny cup! It was our worst meal of the entire 2 week stay in Kalamaki and yet our most expensive...
Fantastic restaurant. Lovely setting, great food, fantastic staff. Fautless.
They were also very child friendly and had a small play area for children at the back of the restaurant which helped us enjoy ourselves even more!
This is the best restaurant in Kalamaki. The food is great, the place is so pretty but most of all the staff are completely charming and can not do enough for you. They remembered my son's name by our 2nd visit and entertained us with their extensive impressions of accents and sayings from all over the world. You can not/should not spend time in Kalamaki without trying this restaurant, and the more you go, the better it gets!
Really nice restaurant, lovely food and very friendly staff.
Beautiful garden setting, really romantic and pretty. However, this was not at the top of the list when it came to food hence why we did not return. Food was average and I was disappointed with the lack of vegetarian choice (I had to have pasta in a Greek restaurant in Greece!) My husband was also served a stone cold espresso which ruined the ambience somewhat. Staff nice enough.
We went here twice in our 2 week holiday. The 1st time was fantastic and the food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful. The 2nd time, it was average. I guess it depends on staff and how busy the restaurant is, but you would hope for some consistency...
