Went in August and did not get round to writing a comment. Food and service excellent.
We did not put a comment on straight away and also are sorry to say that we have experienced the complete opposite to everyone else that has written. We are a family of 4, 2 children (one 2 and one 6). For 3 of us the meals were ok but the youngest ordered fish fingers ( we kicked ourselves for not fully checking- they were overcooked on outside but not in middle) and not that long after was violently ill. At our appartment people asked why they did not see us around much. We explained. Seemed a similar thing had happened to another 3 families. We had eaten at lunch so may be things are different on the evening meals. However, this was our experience and many others seem to like this place due to the reviews and the fact that a lot of people did dine there on the evening. The service was good too.
As a family we loved this atmosphere. Excellent service and we enjoyed the food. The lamb flambe when brought out on fire entertained the restaurant. Definitely recommend the food. Ate there on many occasions and tried lots of different things. Lovely.
Excellent service. Grill is brill for meat. Enjoyed watching the horses and carts driving past. This kept my children entertained. The children loved the chicken nuggets. Normally I am not a fan of these as the meat can be reformed rubbish but they were nice chicken in breadcrumbs so we felt happy when they picked these every so often. Lovely main meals. Only disappointment was the range of desserts- after visiting a couple of times we did miss having more to choose from.
