Aquis Avalon Hotel

The Avalon has a fantastic view and pool. Food was very good, staff were friendly and polite. Hotel location makes it easy to get to all parts of the island. Free transportation is provided to Zante Town or Tsivili beach. Great place for couples.

Although we paid extra for a sea view, we got a corner room (partial sea view). When dining outside there were always stray cats around the tables.Visually the hotel looks great, but on a closer inspection you can see that many things are 'Greek style' half finished, no shower curtain, 2nd pool not yet finished, mini golf course half finished and the luxury apartments with private pools still under construction although you could book them online.

All in all one of the better hotels in Zakynthos especially if the half finished parts get finished!
