Paradise

our third time back at laganas and each time we ate at the paradise and yes niko does have a girlfriend her name is jane she works at the paradise stays at her place most nights. we know the family very well the only reason we keep going back.

i went 2 da paradice ( not on da beach) and 2 let all ya ladies no Nikos dont have a girlfriend any more. i went out with him after work and now keep in touch with him. it was the best night i had when i was over there. niko and dennis are totally singel and really really hot!!!

We lived in this restaurant every nite, the food was excellent, i reccomend the lamb chops, chips and salad, very filling! The waiters couldn't of been nicer especially dennis who escorts you to your table. Nikos was lovely and jimmy very funny! The sambucca shots they brought to you after dinner was a great way to start the nite! You can't go to laganas without going to this resturant at least once. If i could i'd make them deliver to my door now!

(not the one on the beach) Excellent place to eat! Lamb kleftico was out of this world!! Mixed grill for 2, very filling!! Special spaghetti in the oven was divine!! and last but not least Dennis and Nikos, very tasty!!

We went here and its was beautiful, I had potato skins to start with and that was like a meal in itself and then I had the Beef something flambe and that was scrummy, when they fetch it out its on a big tey and they flambe it in front of you, the service was excellent and Nikos was extremely nice.

Rachael, been there and done that too!!! Have had some wicked nights out with Nikos over the last few years and have shaken our asses on the dancefloor many an evening!!!

We went to the one on the beach cos there are two. Service was good and waiters all friendly. Loved the little dog that sat with the boss. Nice stifado but too many onions. wouldn't recommend the house red though - go for a more expensive one if you want quality. Would go here again as it was good value.

JA, which Paradise were you talking about? If it was the one on the beach then Nikos's girlfriend is greek, if it wasn't the one on the beach then we are talking about the wrong Nikos!

This is by far the best restaurant in Laganas. Try the beef flambe; it is heavenly! I wish they did delivery to the UK!!

We had been recommended Paradise by our apartment neighbors and by some other people on our trip, but i think they were having a off night the service was rude my girlfriends pizza burnt, but please dont let me put you off because i do believe it was an off night.

I met Nikos last week in June and first week in July and have stayed in touch on a regular basis, just been back for a week 22nd Sept and went out during early morning and after he finished work. He is engaged to a greek girl who lives in Athans but it is more of a business arrangement. I know he is a ladies man and probably meets someone new every week but it is nice how special he made me feel while I was there. Was his girl friend you met greek or another english tourist would just like to know for future reference as he did introduce me to other customers as someone special

Just an update for you all who know Nikos, Anna is now history so perhaps he won't be becoming a husband just yet. We've just got back and met his new girlfriend, seems nice. We have known him for many years but to be honest kind of lose track with Nikos's lovelife as it seems to change quite regularly!

My boyfiend and i ate at this restaurant our first night there, the food was really nice but 1 of the waiters about 35yrs was really miserable and arrogant, the older chaps were nice though. worth a visit.

We went to Zante in June this year we ate at the Paradise Restaurant (the one on the beach) every lunch time for a snack and every evening for two weeks the food was great, the service was great our favourite meal was Chicken A La Grek washed down by lots and lots of bottles of Solomos wine. We are going back in September this year and cant wait to see Nikos,Spyros and everyone else, thanks for making ours a great holiday and we will see you soon. Miss you lots x x x

We got back from Zante a week ago and it was great. We went to the Paradise resturant just by the Paradise apartments. We made some great friends there Tony, Dennis, Niko, and Jimmy. They are all so friendly! Niko calls me his wife. We went to see them on the last day and it was a bit upsetting. One of them even came to say goodbye at our apartments. We are going back there soon to see them all and are still keeping in touch. The pizza there is really nice and i reccomend you to try it. It was brilliant!

This place is brill. All the waiters are friendly and the food is excellent.Can't wait to go back there again this year.We went for two weeks and for all the two weeks we went there all i eat was chicken fillet with chips and cucumber.I would recomened walking up there and trying it. You wouldn't believe the goodness of the food. I'm a very fussy eater. i'm only twelve and i've made very good friends over there with the waiters: tony(elton), Jim,Niko,Denis and Nula. i miss them all.

it was brill and the food was great and the waiters was fantastic.i am only 12 and i hav the bestest friends in the world called Jim,Tony(Elton),Niko,Dennis and Nulor Tony is a very very friendly man niko he calls me his wife and jim a honest man the last night we had there was very up setting every body was cring i miss them all i cant wait to go back.i had chicken fillet, tuna salad,stawberry and cream it was apsalutly georgous.

i went to the paradise restraunt up by the flamingo apartments!it was great espcially the pizza!the people there were great and i will be back there next year guarented so nico jimmy dennis toby and everyone else at paradise see you soon :)xx

i went to the one by flamingo apartments and it was great! the staff are so friendly! i love the pizza they do aswel! we went there one night and then went there for the next week each day! i am going back there in 2 years so nico, jimmy, dennis, tobey e.t.c see ya all soon!x

There is more than one 'Paradise restaurant'. The one we went to was about 15 minutes walk up the main Laganas road, past 'Black & White, and towards the Village Inn and Oscar Hotel.
This place was so good that we visited it twice. Extremely friendly staff, who know how to keep the kids smiling as well as giving great service to all their cutomers.
Word of warning....If you are gonna have the 'Mixed grill' for 2 people, then make sure you are both really hungry....there's a real platefull of tasty chicken, lamb, steak and pork to get through.

This is the one on the beach, avoid Prawn Saganaki, Paradise Fillet Steak. Apologies if you stepped in ours on the beach last week. Very pricey, but pretty poor we thought.

We met Nicks fiancee Anna last year, Im going back at the end of the month so I will let you know if she made an honest man out of him!

this is the one on lagana road not on the beach. tried this first night and carried on going for full two weeks. the food is quality, staff are brill, jimmy and elton are now our good friends. our whole family cant wait to go back next year. watch out jim theres more of us this time.

'Well Well Well' have you guessed who we are yet? For anyone else reading this, the restaurant is excellent and Nikos is rather pleasing to the eye!!!

We have been returning to Zante for 13 years now and this is another of our "must go back to" eating places. Nikos definitely makes the place with his personality and he has become a good friend over the 13 years. Both myself and my husband refer to him as Steven Seagal as there is an uncanny resemblance. The food is excellent and the location on the beach is great.

Have been to Georgia's and Yannis resturant each of the 6 times we have been to Laganas, and each time the food, service and prices were great, what lovely people!!!
Nikos is a bit of a ladies man to say the least :0)
and Kosta was a waiter there in our first year he now owns the Bounty bar up the high street (real nice bloke).

Beautiful place and wonderful people.Try the lamb kleftico and the Beef Stifado Yummy !!

Paradise Restaurant is on the beach front in Laganas, if you are walking down the main street (towards the sea) its just on the right on the beach.

Recommend the Flaming Lamb Kleftico! I Cant wait to go now!(18th May!)

I haven't been to Laganas since May 2001, and am returning May 2003, Its good to hear that that places I loved to go to and the people I knew there are all ok!! THIS IS THE ONE ON THE LAGANA ROAD - NOT THE BEACH FRONT! We had the lamb souvlaki and chicken a la creme - great stuff! Highly recommend!

Eat lamb kleftiko flame for gods sake

Excellent food and very friendly staff - especially Nikos, who also let us rent an apartment off him (very cheap!). The garlic mushrooms and the fillet steak are definatley worth the visit. Great view of the beach!

THIS IS NOT THE ONE SET BACK ON THE BEACH!!!!! THERE ARE SEVERAL IN LAGANAS CALLED PARADISE BUT THIS ONE IS A SHORT WALK FROM THE OSCAR HOTEL. Very good and we wnt there three times during our stay. Excellent food and great service with really friendly waiters.

Just a word of warning - there is a restaurant about a mile out of town on the main drag, on the left, called Paradise, which we thought was superb, and I have read other comments by people who thought the same. Don't confuse this place with the Paradise on the beach front, which was very average. The Paradise on the drag is well worth the walk.

great view over the bay, excellent sword fish, usual greek service but whats the rush, its nice to sit and have a drink while waiting. price same as every other restaurant we ate at, about £15 for shared starter, two main meals and a litre of house wine.

The Ionian Prawns were orgasmic!! Sorry if we huffed one of the waiters, but the service was excellent and one of us got more than she bargained more. Thank you We shall return

had the mixed slouvaki, which was excellent and plenty of it too, My girlfriend had the chicken paradise which was extreamly potent with garlic, She was sick that evening but not sure if it was the food or not. Service was excellent and staff were friendly. Highly recommend the mixed slouavki.

one of the better places to eat, set back on the beach you get a good view of the sunset early evening. Food good choice and tasted great. High chairs available. Plus great fun playing Hit, miss or maybe by watching the greek waiter stand outside the restuarant and try and entice mainly females into the restuarant.

This is one of the best restaurants on the Island. The waiters are very friendly, particularly our friend Nikos, who's parents own The Paradise. The food here is really nice, and is also quite reasonably priced and the waiters provide a good service also. It is definately worth trying the restaurant, we've been to Zante six times, and eat here almost every night and we will be back again in September. Lucy & the girls
