Was so sorry to hear the news about Steve, our thoughts are with all the family and staff.  He was a fantastic guy with a heart of gold and helped me out loads last year when I came to stay with my mum and the baby!  We've stayed with them all at the Island for many years and the place just won't be the same without him.  Rest in peace Steve, we'll miss you!

Thanks Rosemary,I finally figured out on Friday that I was ringing the wrong mobile number!

A++ this is the type of place you dream of before you go away, right on the beach sunsets amazing food is amazing and they even give you plates to chuck at the greek dancer when he comes on and starts prancing round dancing over fire etc(starts at 9:30pm).
Recommend the Sea Bass yum yum

Fully recommended.  The location is great, the staff friendly and the food amazing.  Cheap prices - which is always a bonus!!!

Hullo to everyone at the wonderful greek islands taverna. We are a big family that have been coming here for many years now and it just gets better! There were 26 of us this year aged from 1 year to 87 years and there is something here for everyone. Hullo to Steve and Eli and family, hope Dannys back soon too. Then to the lads, Nicos, Billy, Stefan, Peter, Telly, Angelo,Haris. Babis and Dominic on the beach when Dominic isnt dancing. Lovely Mikey in the kitchen. Jamie sends his love and cant wait to come back next year. Unfortunately my Dad was taken into hospital and my sister and I had to stay on til he was able to fly home. Steve let us have one of his lovely flats alongside taverna and duly looked after us splendidly.There is no where in the world better than this lovely island where we can spend two weeks with such wonderful friends. Thanks every one , we all send our love and wil be back next year so please all be there!!   Please wear your LUTON t shirt Stefan . Love to you all Rose, Jackie and all the family xx

Just got back to Northumberland after another brilliant holiday staying with Nico at Beachside, just along the beach from Greek Island, the hospitality  and entertainment at greek island were as brilliant as ever, the food is to die for, Steves staff and chefs are a credit to him.  This is a Fantastic restaurant, with great food for a great price. The restaurant has traditional plate smashing and dancing, you can't ask for anything more!!  The waiters are fun and welcoming  and they put on a great show. You even get to dance on the table with a georgeous Peter which you don't want to miss.  I could have spent everynight in there and i didn't want to leave. Miss you guys!!!

Hello everyone, we went here in september this year for our wedding reception................this place is amazing, the staff are so friendly, the food is excellent and the atmosphere there is second to none. Any of you out there in laganas have got to try this place.......you will love it. Thanks to everyone at the Greek Islands for making our wedding reception so memorable, we will be back again next year and look forward to seeing you all again...........THANKS!!!!

The zante man eaters heard one song played frequently at the greek islands restaurant. there was one line something like....'i like, i like, your broom stick' quite beaty. can anyone get us the name of it? we really wanna hear it again!

Okay, so we've just got back like early this morning and the first thing we just had to do was tell the world about this wonderful place!!

Hello to everyone at the Greek Islands!! (Its Ronnie and Amy - the germans (yeah cheers Babis!) We just got back home last night and I promised Babis I would write some comments for him on the restaurant. If you are looking for a traditional greek restaurant which does the best food on the island then this is the place to go. Just a few points to consider.... 1. Babis the PR at the front of the restaurant and the whole of the staff here are complete legends, they really do make you feel welcome and they are so humble. 2. The view and setting of this place is amazing (on the beach looking out to turtle island). 3. They do the most fantastic food you will ever taste in Greece (and I've been to most restaurants on most greek islands during my life). 4. The music, dancing and plate smashing is great. 5. The prices are really competitive (on our last night we both had starters, a massive greek salad, chicken and swordfish for our mains, 2 puddings and 3 coffees, and oh yeah a bottle of Makedonico rose wine. All that came to just 55 euros!!). For those of you with young children, they really look after you in this place. All the waiters make a fuss of them and dance with them. We asked for the bill the other night and the waiter proclaimed that he didn't understand what we meant. He then came back with a little girl that had been following them around all night and asked me to ask her because her english was better (!) This place is fantastic. We went there 3 times during our 2 week stay and I even got Babis to write a little 'wish you were here' note for my mum back home (thanks again for that my friend!). It was so hard to leave Zante because I hadn't yet tried everything on the menu (there was still the red snapper, the dolmades, etc). One last thing, if you like steak and fire, make sure you order the pepper steak flambe (you will feel like you are celebrating your birthday!). 'Yamas' again to everyone at the Greek Islands for some great memories and hopefully we will be seeing you all soon. All the best and keep up the hard work - you are doing the island proud! This was our favourite restaurant that we visited, with the best Greek dancing ever!Learning how to dance to Zorba The Greek, and throwing plates....what more can you ask for!We all went 4/5 times here for the best lunch/dinner on the island. Thanks for making my holiday so enjoyable!x

 Hi Darren, what a great time we had on our last night (except for the german woman telling us off for having too much fun)!!!!  A swim just finished it off well and you should have joined us. If your there next June look out for us and we ll make that a date and Billy can buy us all a drink afterwards.

The G>I> restaurant is the absolute tops! All the boys Danny Steve,Peter,Billy, Yanni,Steven,Dominic,Babis , Chef (beautiful day) Mikey ,Nicos and every one else there are the most wonderful group of guys. They could not make us more welcome and I wouldnt dream of going any where else when I get to Laganas. They make our holiday with there wonderful food, hospitality and we have loads of fun there every day. Nothing is to much trouble and we always go with a large family party ages ranging from 18 months to 86 years and we all get the same considerate treatment.Don't go to Lagana without trying it out please.

just got back from zante where my bro wayne and sister in law jo got married.had wedding reception at greek island which was fantastic.food was excellent,cake was gorgeous,had some plate smashing,greek dancing inside ring of fire.dennis,dominic,billy and rest of the staff were brilliant.been to zante 3 times always go to greek island.love you all to bits,hope to see you all again very soon.xxxx

we are looking for somewhere to hold our wedding reception in september this year, its between this place and georgio's so far. As we havnt been to either and we are just going off comments from previous customers, we would be grateful for any advice or past experiences........ta!

been to laganas twice before greek restaurant is so fantastic my brother is holding his wedding reception there on june 10th 2006 so see you all very soon a laganas holiday wouldnt be the same without visiting the guys at greek island restaurant.

We went to Zante for the first time in September 1998, found the Greek Island and have been going back every year sometimes twice, need we say more!!!  It is impossible to give details of the meals we have had, as it wouldn`t do them justice, there is nothing on the menu that isn`t good.  There is only one thing that is better than the food, and that is the family and the staff that make your holiday.

Yasu, It's two more of those noisey Kiwi's (New Zealanders) from October.

Been to Laganas 5 times now with my family.The GREEK ISLANDS RESTAURANT with Danny, Billy, Peter and especially Dominic always make us feel welcome.  Food is always great and the company excellent. As always the Zantians always make you feel part of the family.   See you all in May 06.

The food, dancing and plate smashing are really good!  The food is very good value for money and we went twice to this restaurant!  This is probably the cheapest restaurant we have visited

Great place both day and night.  Dominic and all the boys work very hard.  We spent my husbands 40th birthday here and the whole staff made the night special.

I wanna thank everyone at the Greek Islands for making my holiday great! Was there is June and its was brilliant the food is excellent and they guys there are billiant they give u a warm welcome. Hope to see u's all again soon. Hope the flag is still up

we was in zante 10th july we ate at the greek islands it was very good value for money very friendly ,nothing too much trouble . there is greek dancing and plate smashing every night . i would like to thank danny and all his staff .

Thankyou to everyone for a fantastic time once again.  This is without doubt the best restaurant in Laganas.  Not only is the food brilliant but the entertainment is superb and everyone treats you like old friends. 

The best restraunt in Laganas by a country mile. Wonderful food. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere reflecting a truely Greek way of life. Also a top view. Try the squid.

Greek Islands is the BEST restaurant in Laganas! The Food is Brilliant, The Staff is Brilliant and the entertainment is Excellent. They all Welcome you and its the best service you will ever get in Laganas!
