WE ARE STAYING AT THE APOLLO IN SEPTEMBER WE LOVE THE GREEK ISLANDS FIRST TIME IN ZANTE, WE ALWAYS TAKE A SAMLL GEORGE FORMAN GRILL AND A KETTLE IS THERE KETTLES IN ALL ROOMS, ARE THE APARTMENTS OK, THE FRIDGE DOES NOT SOUND LIKE A BOEING 747 TAKING OFF DOES IT CAUSE I ALWAYS GET A NOISY FRIDGE, THANKS.

Hello everyone, there seems to be some really good comments about the apollo we are going on the 20th September, can anyone help with a couple of questions......is it a long walk to Alykanas? I know greek islands have lots of shops that sell gold jewerally is there any shops that sell silver jewerall ? is is right that all rooms have kettles and toasters ? our flight home is about 8.30pm so we will be asked to leave our room at 12.00 noon do they offer any room to have a wash or are you aloud to keep your room ? look forward to your response thank you

Everyone seems to say great then there is that bad comment about being put in room above a kitchen and it was terriable, can anyone shed any light on this I am worried I booked this holiday a year ago, Ive been saving like mad and the last thing I want is to end up in this block, does anyone else know about this block, I now the apollo is full when I go and if I was put in this naff room then they wont move us cause there is no where to move us to.

Dear Donna, I hope you had a good time, looking forward to your comments, could you also advise on what you thought of the airport someone has said that a new building is open for arrivals but you have to use the shed like building for the return, and also don't know whether to take euro travellers cheques, sterling travellers cheques or euros.  Regards Wendy
