We booked this last september with JMC - Only £604 for 14 Days for 3 of us !!. Superb Hotel - Clean - good value drinks and food, all the staff were helpful,Colur TV in every room and the location is perfect. They aren't with a tour operator next year, as they feel they've been ripped off by the one they're with this year !!,
OK, my meal was good, but my wifes' wasn't
Food was OK, a bit pricey, but service was poor
Starters were great, but the main courses were very small, left both myself and my wife feeing hungry. We also must have had the only waiter in Kalamaki who didn't really speak english. My wife asked what sauce came with her meal (Chicken in Sauce!) and was asked what she wanted. There must have been crossed wires, because she got a v.small piece of chicken, and 3 pieces of onion / Tomato (Meals served on wooden boards!) . Wouldn't go there if I was back in Kalamaki.
go to Greek night on Sunday (You need to book) it has a restricted menu (and the prices are slightly inflated) compared to the rest of the week. Great food , great entertainment, and the kids can play with the rabbits over the road (Providing you haven't ordered rabbit !)
The best resteraunt in Kalamaki. Good food, great service, good prices - free shots with the bill (Lollipops for the kids) - next time we go back we'll eat here every night (except Sunday - Greek night at Stanis)
Wednesday and Saturday are Karaoke - great fun -
Just got back from a week in Kalamaki. Took my elderly parents (First time abroad - fussy eaters - etc).
Went here the first night of our holiday. My first job after checking in at the Crystal Beach, was to book the Greek nights here. Although we were late booking, we still got a great table.
We ordered Chicken in a cream / mushroom sauce, a couple of Stifados, a Greek Salad, and a kids sausage and chips. All the food was excellent, along with a few portions of Garlice bread, and a couple of bottles of Wine, half a dozen beers , and four desserts..........we got change from 80 Euros, and the entertainment was 1st class..........I've seen fire dancing at Greek nights before, but never through 4 foot high flames............well if the owner keeps throwing napkins onto the fire !
Best place we found was just along the main Kalamaki - Laganas road (50 m past taxi junction) - Careta port 2 supermarket - As of the 19th June they were giving 1.47 Euro to the pound with no Commission
