Hannah, the airport is very basic! We've been twice,our third time this year and the airport is the only bad thing we can say about our holiday.We are staying at the Pallas hotel in laganas,and love it.Anyway,to answer your question,when you check in at the airport,DON'T go through to the departure lounge!! it gets very busy and can be overcrowded.have a drink outside the airport or at the cafe by the check in desks for an hour or two then about an hour before you are due to leave ...go through,you won't suffer at all.Have a great holiday ,we may even see you there , we're going on the 1st of sept!!!!

OFF TO THE HOTEL PALLAS IN LAGANAS FOR THE 4TH TIME ON 1ST JUNE, CAN'T WAIT! HAVE ALWAYS BEEN IN SEPTEMBER SO LOOKING FORWARD TO AN EARLY HOLIDAY AND CATCHING THE RAYS!

the hotel is about 500 yards up a quiet lane,next to a massive olive grove.If you ever got the yellow bus which goes to the zarakina from laganas, it goes right past the hotel! Another way to describe where it is,is if you walked up the main laganas road with the beach behind you,to the point where the bars and shops stop,turn left onto the lane and 500 yards(ish) up the lane is the hotel.Happy holidays!!

Just got back on Sunday!!! Wow!! they did it again.Absolutely Brilliant week,hot and sunny lazy days,warm friendly nights.Defo going back next year.Anyway,Julie....the fridge is 20 euros per week,the safe key is 10 euros per week,I think the air con is 20 per week though i'm not sure?but you may need it,it was getting hotter by the day.The temprature you get on the weather report is taken from the airport stats,you can add 5 to 10 degrees on those if you are by a pool in the hotel!!!!!!!!

EACH TIME WE VISIT YIANNIS WE KNOW IT'S GOING TO BE SOMETHING A BIT SPECIAL AND LAST WEEK WAS NO EXCEPTION. FABULOUS FOOD,HOUSE RED WINE IS VERY DRINKABLE! AND SERVICE EXCELLENT. IDEAL IF YOU WANT TRADITIONAL GREEK FOOD.

WENT HERE LAST NIGHT OF HOLIDAY AND WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED, STARTERS ARE HUGE ( KEBEAB AND PITTA) STEAK ONE OF THE BEST I HAVE TASTED. VERY BUSY BUT SERVICE NOT SLOW, WOULD RECOMMEND.( HOUSE RED YUMMY TOO!)

JUST COME BACK FROM LAGANAS, BEEN BEFORE IN JULY, SEPT AND OCT, 1ST TIME IN JUNE AND WOULD DEFINATLEY GO AGAIN, WEATHER BRILLIANT ( 80-85) NOT TOO HOT, RESORT BUSY BUT NOT HEAVING, SO BARS AND RESTAURANTS ARE COMFORTABLE AND YOU DONT HAVE TO WAIT AGES TO BE SERVED.

HAVE EATEN HERE A FEW TIMES AND IT HAS BEEN GOOD BUT SORRY TO SAY LAST TIME WAS DISAPPOINTING, ORDERED CHICKEN WITH 'HONEY MUSTARD' SAUCE BUT THE SAUCE WAS OBVIOUSLY SALAD CREAM WITH SOMETHING ELSE ADDED WHICH UNFORTUNATELY DID NOT DISGUISE THE TASTE OF SALAD CREAM!
ASKED FOR JACKET POTATO BUT GOT CHIPS. SERVICE WAS FAST BUT THAT WAS PROBABLY BECAUSE PLACE WAS ALMOST EMPTY. I THINK I WAS JUST UNLUCKY WITH MY CHOICE OF MEAL SO IT WOULD NOT PUT ME OFF GOING BACK.

Have just returned from 6th time in Zante and we always eat at Ruby, this time we had 2 visits and had Indian which was fabulous, for starters we had the Ruby platter with Barjees, samosas etc and the main course curries were delicious - lots more taste than at home, I'm sure they use more spices, naan breads are HUGE! The owner and waiters are very friendly too and service excellent, would recommend to anyone.
