Zakfari Jeep Safari was hyped to be the best trip to go on by our rep and he was right. My mate and I decided to do it at the end of our trip to the Island and thought the day was great. Only two minor flaws (I think these are more personal one's but I'll let ye know anyway?). 1, Ben and I had hired a car earlier on in the holiday and done all but two of the stop offs. This made it a little less enjoyable. That said Paul's stories and general info brought a new edge to the stop offs (I still want to know what you were smoking when you found E.T and the elephant Paul!). 2, the other people on the tour, probably just the day we went on but come on people inject a bit of life into yourselves! Ben and I were totally exhusted and hungover from the night before and were raring to go! All in all a blinding day that I would recommend to anyone going to the island! Yours Sincerely, John Hannah
As package holidays go, this hotel was pretty good. My Mate and I wnet there fro some well needed R&R before my girlfriend and her mates turned up. The room was spacious and airy and our balcony was overlooking the street and opposite hotel (there pool was better). Other residents there seemed alright not much in the way of interaction there. Having said that we were never there! My only complaint would be the entertainers namely the one with the Mowhawk, the blonde peroxide one... at what point did it enter your mind that it was a good thing to do? If your thinking that people will look at you and think "Oh what a funny guy he looks a barrel of laughs!" then sorry you have to be kidding they think one word and that is "T**T!" Sorry mate your trying way too hard it's not just my thought but that of my mate, my girlfiend and all her friends as well. Other than that couldn't really complain, great place to use as a base. To all those going have a great time.
If you want a family holiday with kids this place is the business. Couples again good but get a car so you can find better beaches! It's great to relax. The beach is a bit of a let down the picture in the brouchure didn't look great and the real thing was well the same. Nightlife it's got a few good bars Planet Pub (Bad name but what do you expect!) is laugh with a door man who wants to be Ali G (once he realised I was English and knew what he was on about he wouldn't stop pestering me to teach him knew Ali G'isms! West Side!) The main Club Enigma is a great venue only needing one things customers! Eating out all the restuarnts offer the same menu and it's all below average in my opinion. Having said that I don't reckon Greek food is all that. It's kinda like poor imatations of other european foods. Mouska... Lasanagne. Greek Salad... Salad with a lump of feta cheese and lots of oil! I mean come on? If Greek food were to recieve a school report I'm sure it's final comment would be "Must try harder". The resort is a great place to use as a base. My mate and i hired a car and a riot tearing around the island finding secret little beaches and diving platforms. When my girlfriend and her mates arrived a few days after us we then ventured out to laganas and thats where the real nightlife is, great fun (glad I didn't stay there as its a bit Ibiza uncovered) Cherry Bar and Waikios were great laughs. All in all one of the most fantastic holidays I've ever been on. Probably more to do with the people there but still the island is beautiful and well worth a look and as relaxing resorts go Tsilivi is up there with the best of'em!
Christ sorry how could I forget... Tsilivi's best bar maids Danni, her mum Clare and her mate (sorry can't remember your name!) oh and Angel I and my mates still haven't forgiven you for the damage you did to our livers! For those that want a welcome head on down to The Med Bar. If you go tell'em Andy say's hi to the girls!
