Thought Oor Wullies was pretty ok, before 12 midnight was great on the roof top, its a great bar, that plays older music, not all this rave stuff, to suit all, not over packed with all young people. Would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good old knees up, and sing along.

Unfortunately only found this restaurant a few nights before we were due to leave, but spent every night here that we had left. Food was fantastic (especially the Garlic Mushrooms... Oi don't take my mushroom!!!), the service was excellent, and as for the people that said the service was slow.. well when your on holiday don't you go out to have a nice relaxing enjoyable meal, and not forgetting the fact that in Greece, life is at a much slower pace... they do not rush, which is how things should be!! The staff were excellent, the Scottish Guy the owners son, was great, along with virtually everyone else that worked there, they made you feel very welcome and catered for all your needs..... even when asking for JUST LIME to go with your amstel... would certainly recommend this to anyone staying in Zante, Lagannas, well worth the walk, and very reasonable for excellent food.

Where is ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH!!!! this place is the most awful place i have ever eaten, It seems a good deal when your passing all you can eat for 10 euro, yeah right, serves me right for my greed, DO NOT GO THERE...i repeat DO NOT go there, however if you do, look at the kitchen on the way past to the loo, if you dare!!!!! IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT THE GREEK AUTHORITIES CLOSED THIS PLACE DOWN FOR EVERYONES HEALTH!! If you want somewhere good to eat, go to the Akropolis, well worth the walk. BUT KEEP AWAY FROM THIS PLACE

NOTHING TO SAY REALLY EXCEPT IT IS A DIVE AND DO NOT GO THERE, UNLESS YOU WANT SOME HORRIBLE ILLNESS, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

Found the beach to be pretty ok really considering some of the comments we read before going. However if you want a tip to save a little money, the further you go along the beach for a sunbed the cheaper they are, the most expensive being by Daresis Bar/Vezal (8 euro) then getting cheaper down to (5 - 6 euro) the further along you go, so keep walking for cheaper beds and the beach is a bit better along there aswell at the cheaper end. And if your a smoker they also give you an ashtray as well, so there is no need for fag ends on the beach.

Went to Zante for a week on the 10th September, had some rain nearly every day.... quite cloudy, however when the sun was out it was very nice. Had tremor whilst there as well, quite entertaining however when you lay in bed and it shakes and you don't need to ask did the earth move for you, as you know your only reading a book at the time, it does freak you out slightly. Well as for the wasps those big BUGGERS there ok just duck very quickly but if one hits you on the forehead BOY are you F*****D......... but don't worry theres a doctor just around the corner, and then you also realise why when arriving in Zante and being transferred to you hotel, the reps advise you to wear crash helmets!!!!! (Mopeds)!!!!!! :-( P.S only Joking, there are wasps but there not troublesome,....... there just very very very very BIG!!!

Oh and by the way forgot to mention the thunder and lighting..... and the terential rain storms, we had it one day and it filled our balcony, that was the last sunday we were there.... but will go back, it is a nice place and well worth a visit.
