We have just returned after two weeks in Kalamaki. We spent one out of two weeks at the Sirene and then moved to a hotel due to lack of sleep. What with the pool table clinking away until all hours, the kids screaming, the cockerel sounding from 4 am onwards, the dog joining in about 7ish and the local farmer shooting birds at all hours it made for an unrelaxing stay. PS Any one who does go please feed the family of cats as they were the only ones that were quiet!!

The food here is up to UK standard and the price is what you would expect to pay in a restaurant at home. The waiters are very friendly and polite. We have now been several times over the last few years and have not been able to fault it once.

We stayed at the Meandros in September 2002 and booked it by just turning up at reception after a bad experience at the Serene Appts. We are looking to book again this year so any help trying to book this directly, would be greatly appreciated. I have e-mailed the address but had no joy (not sure if this is due to being out of season). The website someone mentioned is still not obtainable. If all else fails I think we will take a gamble and just turn up!!

We have just back from a weeks hols at the Zante Maris and when you are used to staying in self catering in Greece this is like paradise. The Hotel is great and well positioned on the beech. It's only a 2 minute walk from the bars and restaurants but you aren't effected by the noise from them. However the bar in the hotel outside does have entertainment on every night, so if you are in a room over looking the pool take soom ear plugs and don't expect an early night!
Other than that the hotel, staff and food is great and we would go back again.

If you want a place you know you can go back to every year then this is it. Thanks dennis for a great evening. It was good to see you all again. What better way to spend my birthday than sat in the Sugar Reef drinking local rose wine and watching rugby league on TV. See you next year.
