(second try at comments!) Once my wife and I found Pieros that was it. Fantastic! Every meal we had there was as good as it gets. The meat platter: chicken, beef, lamb, pork, each generous piece melted in the mouth. And as for the chicken kebab with bacon. Aargh!! But a restaurant is nothing without the service. From the very first welcome from Dennis the head waiter, to the handshake goodbyes, you could not ask for more. Nothing was too much for them. We arrived as customers and left as friends. Now that is customer service.
Further to our previous comments below. If Roz, Dennis and the rest of the staff read this, we have immediately booked to come back next May, just so that we can give you another visit...every night of our holiday!
The best spot in Tsilivi for breakfasts! The full english was as good, if not better than home. After a disappointing breakfast at Tizzies on our first morning, we tried the Majestic (thanks to this site's recommendation) and thank goodness we did. What a difference. Well done all at the Majestic, keep it up. See you May 2003.
The contents of the trip were ok, but the time spent at most of the locations was laughable! At probably the prime spot, the view from the cliff tops of the ship wreck, we just had time to lean over the edge of the viewing platform for one very quick snap, and then we were wisked away to the next location. Also the stop for lunch was at the worst restaurant we have eaten at in the Greek Islands. The food was undercooked, very poor quality, and over priced. A tourist trap if we ever saw one. However overall I would say that the trip was worth the 10 Euros that we paid just to see some of the beautiful parts of the island on our first trip there.
They've done it again. We tried the rest, but yet again Piero's is the best!
The food is great, but it is the service and attitude of the staff that really makes this restaurant the best in Tsilivi. We would rather eat at Piero's than at the best restaurant in London. Well done and thank you to Dennis, Nico, Theo, Roz and Louise. Also, hello to the beautiful Alycia (Dennis's daughter) whom we met for the first time on our last night. The experience at Piero's again made our holiday! We were not as customers, but as friends.
To anyone eating at Piero's this summer (and you really should), please tell Dennis that Peter & Lynn sent you - and tell them to save our table!!!
Excellent restaurant with quality food that was good value for money. The service was great considering that the restaurant was full every time we eat there - and that says something! The only minor moan was that the tables were placed closer together than most of the other restaurants, but as this was the only restaurant in town where customer queued for a table they can be forgiven.
For info, another great lunchtime snack bar in Tsilivi (which does not have a listing on this site yet so I cant put a comment under it's listing) is "Caspers" which is half way between the town centre and Tsilivi main beach. Give it a look - it is the best value in town for Giros and baked potatoes.
The best restaurant in town if you want a peaceful relaxed atmosphere. The food was good served by friendly staff.
