Hi,Dennis and Kristina, just want to say you still have THE BEST RESTAURANT in Kalamaki!!!. Nothing beats it and never will!! I've been coming to this resort and others on the Island for years now, but no matter where I stay I make a point of calling for a meal at Mikaelos. I had the Beef stifado and it was as usual excellent, and the cheese pies for starters are gorg. There is a REASON for the waiter with the ATTITUDE problem, as some of you kindly put it and I suggest you do your homework first, before adding quip remarks about him!!! Love to all the staff, hugs n kisses to Dennis.
Had a superb meal here, this year and last. The food was excellent and the waitress was lovely, the service very quick, in fact couldn't fault it at all, just as good as China Town. The presentation of the food was beautiful and the portions plentiful. Well done Karen-ann and Yiannis you have a wonderful place, see you again later in the year.
Went here last week several times for English brekkie which was gorg!! Then I overheard someone saying they'd been for an evening meal here and couldn't finish it as the portions were Sooooo BIG, well, seeing as I like a good challenge..... I can tell you now... the fish was HUGE and that was only the med !!! and NO I didn't finish it so, come on you bods who love a challenge, try it. Hello to Paul, Tom, an everyone else there well done you lovely people xx
Have just returned back to work from Caretta Beach. Air conditioning cost 7 euros per night. It is a must. I was there with 2 children (1 aged 4 and 1 aged 2). If you are taking young children please get them some cheap plastic shoes for around the pool area as my two kids kept slipping. Thanks to Maria the cleaner, she is great. Not a lot for very young children to do on the complex during day - except swim. Not a problem for me at least I could sunbath. We went in June and the weather was towards 40 degrees. Would definately return there.
