Hey! Is Kel's bra still hanging on the ceiling? I'm coming back in September to check!!
This place is wicked when you fancy some grub after a night out but beware of the kebab! They have a kind of garlic yogurty mayonaise in it and it's not recommended you eat this if your planning to do a bit of snogging!!
avoid this place if your not looking for an easy s**g! me and my mates walked in and walked straight out! there are tvs showing past nights there showing sick stuff! one woman masturbating and another sucking a lad's cock!!
was quite funny though but not for me thanx!
You MUST go to Zeros if you're in Laganas. It's a top night out. The DJ and staff are wicked. Make sure you say hello to Darren, who works at the back of the bar, and Little Michael, the glass collector!!!
See you in September!!
'Nottingham Posse'
.... But try to avoid the toilets. They absolutely STINK!!! What happened to the cleaner?!
Any of you guys going to Laganas 8th September? If so, email me mik_berley@hotmail.com. I went with 5 mates in June and we had such a good time, we just have to go back again!!
The beach was our saviour in the day! The breeze is perfect, especially if you sunbathe on a lilo in the sea! Get a good tan too. Make sure you get a pedelo out. 4 of us went on one for 3.25 euros and seen 2 turtles! They're well worth seeing. The volleyball net is also a good idea, if like me, you can't sit still in the sun!! You're guaranteed a fantastic time here.
Am due to stay here on 8th September for a week. Wanted to stay back at Tzante Hotel, where I stayed in June, but thought I'd try something different. Angela isn't too far from the beach. If you want a map of the strip, Rescue's site has a decent one of most of the restaurants/bars etc. I think it's something like rescue.net. Check it out if you want to know where abouts your staying. Anywhere you stay though, especially if your on the strip, your gonna have a wicked time. Any one going in September, let me know! mik_berley@hotmail.com
What is that dance song that was always played out there? I cannot think of it and it has no lyrics, just music. It's like a carnival/football song. da da da da da....... HELP!! does anyone know it?

I don't think it is called 'The Bongo Song' as that's by safri Duo and was out ages ago. I've asked loads of people but i STILL don't know what it's called. Even singing it in Virgin Megastores didn't help. They didn't have a clue what i was going on about!!! It isn't the Zorbas dance, which they did round the bar. That's a great tune though.
Thanks for your help guys but it's neither of them! It doesn't help that the song has no lyrics! Suppose i'll just have to wait till i go back on the 8th September and when i do find out, i'll let you all know!!!
FOUND IT!!! The funky house song i've been trying to find the name of is 'mighty dub katz -let the drums speak' Have a listen. Did any of you hear it played over there? It's my holiday song anyway.
Hey Chris! i'm back in September. What date you going?
Sarah, the 'put your hands up' song might be Tim Westwood - Track 1. That was my Zeros song too!
If you still want to see the Zero's boys together in action, you'd better go before the end of October, as Darren, Raf, Zizi and the DJ are all leaving at the end of the season. I came back from Laganas on Monday and they're all excited about moving on to their new destinations. Good luck lads!!
i agree that this place is a bit dodgy! toni just sits around on his a**e all day making sure you're not too loud or nobody's trespassing his "precious hotel". when he does talk to you, he makes no sense whatsoever and neither does the fact that he kicks people out of their rooms nearly 24 hours before their flights. i came back on monday and was told to hand in my key at 12.00pm when i wasn't due to the airport until 5.00am the next morning! no, i'm not joking! although the location and room standards are rather average for 18-30's accommodation, i would recommend that you stay at the fantasy apts or tzante hotel which have better facilities and are nearer to the most popular bars and clubs.
Great place! I stayed here in June but thought i'd try somewhere else, when i came back in September, though i wish i'd stayed here again! They feature some great films that you can watch for free, though the funny guy (who looks like a werewolf) does pester you to buy a drink! They also serve great food. Try the sausage and grilled onion sarnie on garlic bread! (but only if you like a lot of ketchup!)
I don't know why this place has got such a negative response as, when i visited this restaurant last week, i loved it! There's a lot of choice on the buffet menu (at 9.80 euros) and it was all well cooked. Though i have to admit, there was about 2% beef and 98% mushrooms! But who cares anyway! The yummy pork balls, chicken wings and crispy duck certainly made up for that!!
Where's my Kebab?! -- Service very slow.
The Metropolis serve the BEST breakfast on the strip so head down here for the best hangover cure! For 4.50 euros you get a large fry-up (with all the works) plus a tea or coffee AND a glass of juice!
I agree with Lou - what are you guys on about! This restaurant's great! The waiters ARE fast and smiley and the food is nice (though i always opted for a meal from the Childrens section - you get just as much for only 3 euros!!!)
I visited here once with a friend and it wasn't bad at all! The service was fast and our greek dishes were lovely but maybe that was because we went in the off-peak season, when it wasn't busy and the waiters could attend to us better. I have to admit that the PR is pushy but he's a nice lad and is obviously good at his job cuz he got us to go in there!
Robin Hood Cafe is excellent. The people are really nice and are quick to make you feel welcome. They do yummy rolls with anything you'd like on them and the price isn't bad either!
This trip was fantastic and well worth 10 euros for 4 hours of cruising in the sea! Unfortunately we didn't see a turtle because it was off-season but swimming near Keri Caves and visiting the secluded beach on Turtle Island was definately worth a visit. I was actually surprised at how big the boat was, as i thought with the cheap price that it'd be just a small one, but it is a big ship with 3 decks and i guarantee that you'll enjoy it!
I came back from Laganas on Monday after a revisit to the island and although i still had a good time, i was disappointed at how "dead" it was. This time of year is best for couples, as it's more quieter. In fact, everywhere I turned there were loved-up people! So if you're 2 single ladies wanting to have a mad week here and meet loadsa new people, i'd recommend coming in June, July or August. September is a great time for you to get away from it all and relax as even the barmen aren't so wild! The weather is still ok-ish, though it was rather stormy last week and there was a massive flood, which resulted in our suitcases floating on the floor! ... and we were 2 storeys up!! Anyway, hope this helps!
To Em...
Zizis told me that he's going to find a place in Athens, as people keep wrecking his "precious" car! He's ready to try something new now.
