Iliessa Beach Hotel - (Accommodation in Argassi)

Hotel was great, we had a room underneath the bar and it was surprisingly quiet. Surprised at cost of fridge which is 20 euros per week.

Symposiom - (Restaurants in Argassi)

We ate here twice when we were in Argassi. It is at the end of the main road towards Zakynthos Town. Although a little more expensive than the rest of the restaurants in Zakynthos it is well below what you would pay in the UK for a restaurant with this much atmosphere and attention to detail. Food was modern greek, service was outstanding. It is situated right by the sea with a view into Zakynthos Town. If there was anything wrong with the food, then the portions were too big and some dishes were very salty. This is a great place for a special meal but if you just want chips with everything then you've got just about every other restaurant in Argassi to go to. Also, if you're not sure about which wine to choose, then ask the waitress.

Mouse House - (Other Things in Argassi)

It costs 1.50 euros for each 15 minutes but they charge for each minute used after that time. So if you use 25 minutes they only charge you for that time.

Poseidon (old) - (Restaurants in Argassi)

Ate here twice at lunchtime. They do the best greek salad here, which is saying alot since it's on every menu.

Argassi Beach - (Beaches in Zante)

OK so there's not much beach to speak of but if you love swimming in the sea then there are plenty of hotels where the pool area looks over the sea. You can base yourself by the pool and walk the few yards down to the sea when you want a dip.
