We arrived on 7.9.03 - allocated on arrival at airport - we were more than happy with it. Hotel staff excellent - First Choice reps were brilliant although we didn't partake in any of their activities there was something on every day for the kids etc. Very good family type hotel with an excellent swimming pool, cleaned every morning without fail. We'll come again - Great restaurant opposite called Stamnes Tavern. Met some great people all the best to Fred & Sue and Steve & Megan from Southend who got married out there.

Good family type place - play area for children - excellent singer/guitarist. John Smith's a bit pricey about £3 per half litre. Great bar staff! 100 yds to left of Planos Bay (coming out) well worth a visit. Don't leave your pint on the bar otherwise you'll get straws chucked in it - he would make a good dart player.

We went on Early Bird Day - Spiros was our driver - had a great day - loved the tall stories - Spiros didn't believe any of them ha ha - great way to see the island off road - took time to get the smell of rotting eggs off our clothes (sulphur bath) - I want a refund I don't look 10 years younger. Tip if you go take a jumper it does get a bit chilly up in the mountains. Great trip - well worth going. All the best Steve & Sheila x

Hi to everyone at Stamnes - (Okey Dokey) Ate here most nights of our weeks stay - Food excellent - Service Excellent. Chicken Stifado was magnifique. Mixed grill was superb. Waiters were all very polite and a good laugh ( your table is ready!) Has he learnt eezy peezy lemon squeezy yet? WELL WORTH A TRY.Sheila says Banana split was scrumptious.
