Ah the 18-30 brochure - what liars!!! They said this NEW hotel was top of the range..... Its about 10 - 15 years old give it a day! AND it smells seriously bad - especially if you have room 116 which is located next to a drain at the end of the corridor which smells seriously bad. The rooms were seriously dirty, cobwebs everywhere and the bathroom floor was seriously minging! I cant say the place was cleaned at all! Also the pool looks massive in the photo's its not that big at all! Having said that once u get used to the smell and the dirt the place is ok. Considering its next to 2 night clubs you can actually sleep until the gangs of lads and the slappers return from their night out yelling a waking up the entire hotel! Be warned there are no towels in the room you have to get a safety deposit box then they will begrudgingly give you some towels - for €15 plus €35 deposit. Also you have to pay €40 for the deposit. Whatever time you get into the hotel check the list of what you should have in your room and make a note of any item missing and any damage straight away - give this to your rep first thing at the meeting so that you have proof it wasnt you - they are not keen on giving the deposit
back! It costs €30 to keep your room on the last day we found out that for only €10 in another hotel down the strip you can get a room until you need to leave at 2am. As the fantasy kick you out at 6pm and you have to wait till your flight at 5am!! Nice!
All in all an ok holiday but we wont be returning in any hurry!
We liked it so much we ate there twice.
More expensive than some of the restaurants but so worth it! The food was gorgeous!
They also had the poshest toilets we'd seen all holiday!
What a top place! Busiest restaurant we'd seen and now we know why! Ate there 3 times! Food was yummy. Waiters were ace! And it was really reasonable in price too :o)
Bit off the beaten track but worth finding.
If you go to the crossroads head down the road with Dallas chemists on the corner (opposite the road with gspot bar) head past the irish bar and its up a dark road just past the dora appts. Its official title is Mr Dallas! Defo go there!
We were there end of season and the place was always empty whenever we hit there not matter what time of night! Having said that it was a great place to chill out at the back sitting on the deck chairs watching the waves and listening to the funky music! Would have been a wicked place if it had been busy!
We actually never managed to hit there at night but they do the best bagels in the world!
Interesting place - the ikkle bar man that breathes fire - what a nutter
we went end of season it was difficult to find a place with anyone in it! liked zeros alot but did end up in rescues as it was slightly cheaper and there wasnt a p**vert behind a cam corder sticking chests and a**es up on the video screens!

2 cloudy rainy days out of 7 which was good going.... BUT all the pubs and clubs were fairly empty - found the best bet was to follow the pub crawls as they filled the bars up!
We went on the Delphini, they have a kiosk up the main strip in laganas nr where the footy competition was. The trip tour of the island only cost €10, this didnt include any drink or food so take a packed lunch. The boat was nice, and we had a cloudy day which was good cos at least we werent sat bored by the pool! I got badly seasick and the crew gave me a life jacket for a pillow and showed me to the comfy seats bless em! High light was defo the shipwreck beach could of stayed there all day! The delphini boat is the only one that can go all the way into the dolphin caves so worth going on. Have to say that after those two high lights the enthusiasm wore off. At the last stop our boat got stuck and had to abandon anchor! A long day! Probs best to get a trip that just does the caves and the shipwrecked.
Good Grief, dont expect the amenities you get at any UK airports just thank god they had toilets!! You queue to check in..... you then have to go outside to a bus shelter to join another massive queue where you wait for about 30 mins surrounded by stray dogs and its about 3-4am :o( the 2nd queue is for the passport check before you go thru to departures. Once thru get a seat ASAP dont visit the one and only shop till you get a seat! Take a pack lunch as the snack bar with its captive audience is a bit pricey especially when its the end of the hols and you have no cash left! AND the stupid flight times 5am arrival and 5.55am take off because of the turtles, and by all accounts they've left the island before sept so go figure!
its your typical little england, tons of pubs and clubs and shops selling tacky souveniers! We were there end of season so the pubs and the clubs were fairly empty. Also the place seriously smelt.... whether this was due to the flooding a few days before we arrived or whether its always like that i dont know! The Beach also appears to be clay?!
For anyone thats worried about a 18-30 holiay you have nothing to worry about. There are no day activities and the evening activities are optional (and at a cost). We found that as we hadnt booked anything the reps ignored us, which was fine :o) Except for when you needed to find something out and they were quite unhelpful. As for the brochure stating the fantasy appts were brand stonking new..... they were falling apart smelt seriously bad and were dirty AND the pool isnt as big as it looks AND the water was a dodgy green colour.
